  • Hugs to all who find the weekends difficult. I'd like to have an AF Friday
too so will do like you castrio and try to find something nice instead.
Trying to get in and out of a supermarket without wine is usually a
problem for me though. Off so work soon so will catch up later.

May need a bit of support this evening!

    DB x
  • Hey some good ideas there

DB - do you NEED to go to the supermarket? If you don't I'd avoid it - that's my strategy for later.............and of course keeping busy and doing some of my blanket, reading book etc - and will clear out ANOTHER bag/box or cupboard like Castri09
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

    Hello!

I have had lovely day with DD. I intended to dump her to the soft play area in my local sport centre and go for a run but they said that if I leave her there I am not allowed to go out of the building so lucky had my swimming gear with me so went for a swim instead. Then had a quick snoop in charity shops, girlie lunch and home we are now. I need to run later after BF is back here or early tomorrow morning before heading to London for a day visiting friend.

I am with Fay with the egg chick thingamy. It is the survival of the fittest re their living environment and how they specialice to what ever food is available. So at that time the circumstances were favourable to chicken type of birdies. Don't get me started on evolution, adaptation or domestication.

Going to watch Wild Animal ER with DD. You might be thinking that I am brain washing her :rotfl:

Hmm we do this one alot at home

I reckon it had to be the egg - thinking with an evolutionary biology head on

Egg embryo will be a genetic mutation of whatever produced it (ie ancestor of the chicken) and then when born with the mutant gene being dominant to make it more chicken-ish less like its ancestor mother (*ancestor NOT ancient - not all mummies are ancient)

    - hey presto in the manner of evolution and all of darwins theories a new speices is born

    - the mother of the 'mutant chicken bird' would look at the offspring and think 'OK something with you isnt quite right' but she loves it anyway - SO THE NEW MUTANT CHICKEN GROWS UP AND IS ABLE TO REPRODUCE

    - and the dominant gene in the newly mutant (now chicken) reproduces with something of its own clan (mutant or non mutant) and a new chicken will again be born.

Until we get modern chickens (?)

You can tell my MSc was in taxonomy eh? (eg what makes a species a species)

    WELL ITS ONLY MY THEORY..............:D

I totally agree with Fay here .... so much so I am going to print it out and stick it in my Albumen :D

I think the caption said it all!

One of the many reasons I just to try and justify dabbling was that my heroes did it. Keef was never a hero, just someone who I figured I could copy with immunity.

Like it or not, we don't all stop being impressionable when you're a teenager - I certainly didn't.
For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 2007
