ok - I want your life BHB - i would so love to rear our own chickens/ducks etc. I love my vege growing - am very new to it but get so much pleasure out of it and just generally being outdoors but dh just not interested. It makes me very sad - would love it to be something we could do together. Am going to go and look at chicken coops on ebay to cheer me up - oh dear - just realised how very sad that makes me sound!

There seems to be a really good positive feel on the thread today - I'm going to go for another AF day today.

Need to go as kids are head to toe in mud from dog walk and we only went to the park - have no idea where they found it - but my house is in danger if I don't get the stuff off them soon........

    Hello peeps

2 AF for me please. I think there maybe as lot to be said for cutting alcohol out completely, maybe its like cigarettes in some ways, when you cut down on them you are always waiting for the next fix, so maybe its the same with Alcohol. I slept a bit better last night as well and thankfully eys not so red LOL.

I will be AF tonight as well.

    Habbit

  • Hollie mud is your friend - you'll need to make friends with it............ - and I love my chicken (alas there's only one at the mo) - you're not sad - the goodlife is a way of life which would make us all a bit happier if you're that way inclined! (MY current OH isn't interested either - although he does pop out and feed the chicken and he was just beaming when he brought back 2 eggs the other day!) Its infectious this stuff...............

Habbit - great stuff on the eyes looking better - I think you might be right about the giving up bit - day at a time though eh?

Excellent we have some potential faffers tonight already :)

Caz, how's you today? How was OH when she got home? I do understand what GC said about changing your habits, but I also think how you manage them, each continuous AF day achieved helps to lift the fog and help with the next iykwim?

I gotta rush, got cleaning to do

Well done on 3 days :T - its normal to feel pretty CARP during this bit - I think its 3 days for all the alcohol effects to get out your body and it will start mending itself :)

If you can stick with it do - its so worth it - don't think too much about later

Just focus on today - after a while it does get a bit easier

If you're feeling run down maybe think about some vitamins?

Really well done, looking forward to FAFFing with you later on - I've just bought a bag of wool scraps from the charity shop for my blanket - so guess what I will be doing later

YUP - keeping myself busy and distracting myself!
