But when I was drinking never mind the 600+ calories per bottle of wine, there was the crisps, the snacking throughout the evening (fishfinger sandwiches, bacon sarnies, chips, or a chinese, or ten tonne of toast etc) and then the extra wine I'd drink and then the extra food I wanted the next morning - something cooked like an egg butty or a sausage butty - full fat fizzy juice etc

I think a bit of carp instead of wine is very very fine now!

    QUOTE]

So true Fay! I always crave a super duper sized Big MAc meal the day after a session.

The house you went to look at sounds lovely!

1 more FAFF for me tonite....have had a cuppa tea whilst watching the Brit awards.

Cazza - sending you big hugs. Seems such a shame to cave in when you had such a lovely morning. Did you drink this afternoon because you were bored? I have never been tempted to drink during the day (too much to do!), but its nighttime when I get bored, thats when one glass of wine easily becomes a bottle. I think I would do as Graeme suggests and try AA again for some extra support, as well as maybe trying your plan of driving to avoid the drink. Hope you have a better day tomorrow. X

Think I will have a hot bath now cos I'm ffffreeeezing1

    Night all X
  • Right, done some spring cleaning and ordered myself the book that has been recommended on here, so plan to get inspiration from you guys and the book Living Sober.

Off for a soak in the bath now and hopefully a better nights sleep tonight. It doesn't help that the cat decides to sleep on top of me most of the night, but he keeps me warm LOL.

Night Night guys and thanks again for all the support, I think you lot will help me through this.

    Habbit
  • NIght habbit xx Well done on all your hard work tonight! xx

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Oh yeah, hi everyone :wave::D

Hi WB - Yes we've missed you :D;)

Funny day so far - up before the cockerels, At the abbatoir at 5.40am with our last two (ever) goats. Been to work, come back now thinking about my 3rd breakfast ..... mmmmm now what will it be ? Bacon - ??? Nope ...run out. Though two piggies going off tomorrow though so back to the abbatoir, but not until 8.00am  Bacon and bangers in a fortnight yum yum.

Bloke coming to look at my livestock trailer in a while. We are giving up with the big beasties and sticking to stuff that we can 'do' on site .... geese, ducks, chickens, pheasants (If I get my way ;)) turkeys etc.. Hence don't need the big trailer any more so FAFFing fingers crossed for a good price :D

Feel great this morning after my FAFF yesterday so aiming for another tonight .... there - I've said it so it must be :rotfl:

    Best Wishes

    BHB
