Hi folks,
Haven't been on for ages, so apologies for not knowing what's been going on.
Heading off to bed, so just a quickie, but just want to let you know I'm doing fine on the moderation/no benders/no hangovers approach.
Budgie - hope all is good with you and yours.
Jo - haven't had the time to follow your progress the last week or so, but hope the AF journey is going well.
Fay - hope your AF journey is going well too, hen.
Sparkles - need to catch up on how you're doing and what's happening with you.
Graeme - hope you're well, need to read through the last few weeks' posts to see what insights you've given.
Gosh - have to say I'm really tempted to try to make it to the London meet-up (assume it's still on?) but I'm a very shy and private person so...just don't know...
When is it again?

Well done sparkles, we all need to do that! Hope you're feeling more like your usual self. I've never suffered from migraine but OH does. Hopefully it'll be a one-off for you.
Great to hear from you GG. I'm in much the same place as you. I'm still checking in but I'm comfortable with my cutting down and sticking to it. Lovely people on this thread have helped me so much. Be back soon!!! P.S. I think the meet up is planned for Easter.
Have a great weekend everyone.:A0 -

Hi to everyone.....not been around as have`nt been able to log in (imagine *confuzled* smilie here).
I`m on 13 AFDs please :j:j...thats a total of 5 1/2 months & some of the most stressful times of my life with housemove, job losses, christmas...plus feeling a bit lonely which, although it has`nt ever bothered me before, has been getting me down lately.:(
Sorry...sound like I`m offloading my thoughts....the usual `angel waffle`...but I feel better for it anyway:o:o,,
Have a nice weekend,

ShaggyWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
lovely to hear from you GG - I wondered how you were doing = please pop on and let me know every now and then. You sound like you are doing very well indeed!
As for me, alcohol is lessening its grip on me and it was very nice to wake up today feeling less tired at long last plus no after effects!
I'm getting used to being on my own, slowly and surely, and not using alcohol as a comfort or replacement. Getting there.
It would take a lot for me to go to the meet up as I'm a private person too.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
