Good Luck with the application Jo. Have a Nice Day:wave:
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Good morning!

And well done all FAFFers and CAFFers :j

Working from home today but few chores to get done before I log on to work. At least this afternoon I will get out of the house as can drop DD to my friend and then do my dog walking. :D Thankfully my lovely Mrs Mop is coming today so will sneak for a run while she is here.

    Byeee...

  • Woo hoo to Mrs Mops (Ours comes on a Friday - I love my lodgers they pay for her :)) enjoy your run Marru

Hello everyone I feel like I've been run over by a bus - just shows you what a couple drinks over the weekend does for me - my body is now detoxifying!

Well that or I am getting a cold, I suspect a bit of both

    I hope everyone is fine

The time machine thing is a bit scary - I think I may be at the 12 years later stage - so I've lots of mending to do

Hope everyone is good :) will catch up in a bit - in the field all day but home at lunch - its half term here - yup dragging my DS to help me for the day he needs a favour from his Mummy!

    No rest for the wicked

Jo good luck with your app form I hope its in later :) they'd be daft not to have you.

Any one reading wanting to join us - just post - this lot are ace!!

  • Annoyed with myself for not FAFFing last night.
Hadn't planned to FAFF, but know I could have done relatively easy.
Instead had a crap day at work, and decided to buy 4 beers instead of having a G&T when i got home which I was allowing myself. Result - more units than I wanted to have.....

I Must not buy beer ..... I must not buy beer ....

:o:o Never Mind - must try harder tonight ;)

mollypolly i do apologise its 2 years no alcohol well done to you xxxxxxxxxxx

    Good morning everyone,

Astightascanbe...yes it is nearly 2 years now since I had a drink...I can't believe how far I have come....and it is all down to this thread.I found it a few days after ISOM started it....and although it took me a few months of stopping and starting, after a lovely holiday for our 25th wedding anniversary which I nearly ruined through drinking/hangovers, when I came back I climbed back onto the wagon.....and there I have stayed ever since.

It has been a hard ride at times and even now I try to come and read on here most days as it would be easy for me to start again.

It has been a bumpy ride sometimes....especially when LIFE happens but it does get easier and now I know I will never drink again.:)

Only two days now till I go up Nooth to meet the NEW relations and have bought a bottle of champagne to take up for the celebrations......thought maybe one glass wont hurt............................................................................................................

But thought again :D ( ONE IS TOO MANY)...and have bought a bottle of Sainsburys AF sparkling wine for myself.

Right...the sun is shining and I have loads to do before Friday.

    Have a lovely day peeps.
    See you later
    Love Mollypollyxxxx

PS..Wish I had the time/ ability to do major posting like Budgie....but well done to you all.:T

    best of luck, jo

Molls - you are a star!!

Sir William - don't beat yourself up. Treat it as a roundabout and drive straight on (or something like that). You are doing FAR better than you originally planned, so be pleased, not annoyed

still stalled on 3, but last night was 'planned'. Hoping for a Weds, Thurs double FAFF, then all next week's school nights :)

    Hope everyone is well
