  • I've just taken the plasters off my feet from when I stupidly wore new boots on a night out, preceded by wearing them for a 2 hour cleaning shift. Sore is not the word! Let's hope having a shower does them some good. As soon as they heal up, I can wear the boots again. :rotfl:

Might actually get what I need to get done today before OH phones me telling me there MUST be something online telling him how to change the glowplugs in his car nd that I need to look for him - even though when I looked yesterday there was nothing and told him so.

There is *something*, but it involves plastic explosive, a garden gnome and a hamster...

OK will someone tell me what I should do otherwise I will get even more confused.

I live near Hartlepool, you can see my house from the A19, shall I :

A- Go to Snaggs and leave the car there
B - Go to Linda's and leave the car there
C - I drive there myself all the way, on my own, with nobody to talk to....crying all the way.
D - Get the train and pay £86:eek: with 2 changes which means I will probably end up in Dorset or something.

I need someone to organise me:o

    I say...

Drive to Snaggs, then you two will collect Ames and come here, I am driving us all down in my car!

Sounds like a nice run Snaggs - glad the CD's working out ok. If your courgettes still need the warmth then pop some cut off clear plastic bottles over them.

DD2 and I went for a lovely walk along the beach and up the cliffs this morning (only 2.45k so not as much as all you show off runners)....it's a walk I normally do every day in the spring/summer but it's not wheelchair friendly so haven't been able to do it for a while....luckily DD1 had homework to do so she kept DH busy at home.

Roast chicken and all the trimmings later....I might pop out in the garden for a bit in the mean time....plenty to start sorting and I acutally hung some washing out this morning so that may be dry.

Thanks Pooky - the only plastic bottles I tend to have are tonic bottles and I haven't been drinking much so don't have any...I should correct that! :D

Sounds like a lovely walk, really wish I lived near the coast sometimes.

I am studiously ignoring the roast chicken and trimmings bit, I definitely don't want that...really...

Kayleigh, no pain no gain eh? :rotfl:

I'll fit in with whatever plans everyone else is happy with re cars/parking/collecting people - off work all day and don't have the kids so it wont be a problem. Really must try to get rid of the 'nappy' smell from my car if I'm driving other people in it though! :rotfl:
