No, not exactly. Once you get off the A19 - you'll be going a lot slower. It depends where exactly Lou needs to end up. You can do the country roads and cut in, but motorways are quicker.

I spend my time trying to bypass the place...

When I stay with my sis in Newcastle I go on the A19 which is usually dead! Takes me about 1.45 as long as there isn't a big queue for the Tyne Tunnel

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Morning folks

No snogs - 0 talent in the pub. Butwe planned a big night in a couple of weeks! In fact my next three saturdays are booked up! which is very unusual

I feel much better about things today, far calmer.

Hope all is well with everyone!

If Suzysu is about - shall we train share? and the Cats - inky and Scaredy? aren't you both near us? Can't have all the northerners having all the road trip fun (although I quite fancy the train with a picnic)

    xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

It'll be really fun if you all get the train together!
    Ooooh I'm really excited!

Once you've booked let us know the arrival time and one of us can come and collect you from the station if we arrive first!

OK will someone tell me what I should do otherwise I will get even more confused.

I live near Hartlepool, you can see my house from the A19, shall I :

A- Go to Snaggs and leave the car there
B - Go to Linda's and leave the car there
C - I drive there myself all the way, on my own, with nobody to talk to....crying all the way.
D - Get the train and pay £86:eek: with 2 changes which means I will probably end up in Dorset or something.

I need someone to organise me:o
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Are Linda and Snaggs going together? If so, who is taking the car?

Option E - Is there still a direct train from you here Lou? You could get here on that, and we can train the rest of the way together, avoiding Dorset ;)

    Hi Buffy :hello:

I haven't booked a room  been feeling a bit "meh" so wasn't sure if I'd be good company at a party :(
Had a look on National Rail Enquiries, 2 advance singles were £26 & a return £77, that can't be right, want to go into the ticket office & get them to check it for me, get advance ticket this time Buffy !!!!!

Random bit of post - just making a skirt & have put in a concealed zip, first time I've ever done it & it looks really good :D

  • Morning all.

Buffy that's pants that you didn't get a good snog. Fingers crossed in the next three weekends you'll get a bit of action!

Ames - it's your flat. If you want your duvet in the front room then soo be it!

Elfen - hope you get to do what you want to do.

I really should crack on with my essay - which isn't due for over a month but I can't find the motivation! It's all do with proximity and distance and migration! I can feel the eyelids drooping!

For advance tickets, 2 singles are *usually* cheaper than 1 return.
