I dont know Snaggs, I just know that it would take 4 hours to get to the travelodge but it takes 1 hour 50 mins to get to Bradford which is only 79 miles away from me.........Surely it shouldnt take almost 2 hours to go 79 miles?

I'm not sure where you are exactly Lou, but it takes about 1hr15-30 (depending on driver lol) to get from Leeds to Newcastle. I think the problem round your way is the total lack of motorways, same as everywhere in the east. Once you get to the A1 you should be able to go a lot faster.

It apparantly takes about 2 hours 20 from Bradford to telford which is 130 miles, so you'd only be adding on about 10 mins to detour to Lindas (or Snaggles).

Plus, it depends where you're looking, I've just used Google maps for that and I always find they overestimate the time.

I can get from mine to the outskirts of Leeds in approx 1h 30. It should take you a little bit over an hour to do the same.

No, not exactly. Once you get off the A19 - you'll be going a lot slower. It depends where exactly Lou needs to end up. You can do the country roads and cut in, but motorways are quicker.

I spend my time trying to bypass the place... :eek:
