Morning everyone! Happy Birthday to AussieLass - Hope you have a lovely day ! :bdaycake: :bdaycake:

It's a bright frosty morning here. Bedclothes washed but not sure that it's a good drying day at all. Got another load in the machine too. Fed the birds some apple and lard along with some breadcrumbs, so hope that they enjoy that,

Taking DH into the rugby this morning, planning on catching up with a friend :coffee: and then my mum this afternoon, as well as fitting in a couple of dog walks along the way before having to pick DH up again. He's not able to drive just now as the pain in his knee and ankle is pretty bad.

Breakfast is going to be a bowl of porridge, lunch will be on the hoof and then tonight's dinner is fish pie that I made a couple of weeks ago and froze down.

Hope that the OS meet goes well and that its lots of fun putting faces to names.

Have a lovely day and enjoy your weekend :grouphug:
  • morning all:D

Just having breakfast in peace while DS is watching the Water horse on DVD (again:p)
Off to his music group this morning, was going to be making savoury fish crumble later but DS has seen the cod in the fridge and informed me he isnt eating it:o so will rethink things.
I will get some cheese scones done today and eat them all myself....Bitsys fault honest;)
OH has gone to find a new van to buy so hope he gets one sorted today.
I have yet more ironing to do later:p
Happy Birthday to Aussie and hope you all have a great time on the meet:D:)
  • Hi Bitsy
Thanks for the suggestion, I've tried steaming, with & without eucalyptus oil, also tried ear candles. According to the Dr my ears are inflamed, what evet that means.

Good Morning all, just trying to find my camera and batteries for the London Meet at lunchtime .I am looking forward to seeing lots of new faces and I'm sure we will all have a good time.
Happy Birthday to Aussielass I hope you don't find it too cold over here, although it seems quite mild at the moment.
Busy day today as I am hoping the trains are behaving themselves from North Kent I shall be leaving a bit earlier to allow for delays.Tonight when I get back from London I have to drive 40 odd miles to my sis-in-laws in Bromley as I am helping my niece and her two children move into ther new house in Westerham .So its going to be a busy week-end.Hope everyone has a productive week-end and get done all they want to.
I will be back hopefully by Sunday night at the latest
    Take care all

    Morning all

Damp here but rain seems to have stopped for the moment!

Yesterday I didn't get all of the jobs I wanted to get done finished but did solve the problem with my hoover so at least I don't need to buy a new one! Got all the housework done except for washing the kitchen floor as this is the main route into the house, so will do that tonight before I go to bed at least it will be clean for a few hours whilst we are all in bed!

Need to get last load of washing in the TD - this is the school uniform etc that was worn yesterday - will iron it and everyone will be ready for Monday.

Want to get my baking done this morning - so there are some bits for lunchboxes and sweet treats for over the weekend. Last night we had chicken topped with stuffing wrapped with bacon, it was delish - and not difficult to make and not to long to cook. Will definitely have that on the menu list again. Have cooked eggs and toast this morning for DS1 and DS2, I've had porridge. Lunch will be HM bread, cheese, salad, grapes and apple, yogs. Tonights dinner is going to be chinese fried rice, will make it up as I go along - generally turns out ok - need to put some peppers in it as I have some in the bottom of the fridge that need using up. Also have some spring rolls, and other little chinese snack items that I bought for Xmas (in case we had unexpected guests that needed feeding).

Freezers are both quite full as I have been freezing leftovers but not always using them up and buying items that are RTC. Food budget is going to be stretched this week as I don't have that much money left so have menu planned and will be trying to not spend too much when I do shop - should be interesting as this is my real weak area!!

Need to crack on now otherwise I'll still be on here in an hour's time.

Keep safe and well everyone, hugs to those that need them.

    Morning all,

:bdaycake:Happy Birthday to Aussie, hope you have a great day, and enjoy meeting everyone xxxx

We have lots to do today, first job is to remove all the rubbish from the corner of the garden, which the previous owner left , this is going to take several runs to the tip, but the garden will look so much better without it. I also want OH to put my washing line stake in the garden so I can get some washing out, you have no idea how much i've missed getting the washing out :o.

Oh fixed the loose floorboards on the landing last night, so we can now get up for a wee in the night without waking everyone, sometimes its handy having a carpenter in the house :D.

We also need to get the rest of the stuff into the loft, which is a two person job, and then at least everything will be in its right place.

Dinner tonight will be pasta bake, not OH favourite but it is dd'd, so he has to put up with it sometimes, its also a cheap meal, but OH will be looking for some meat to go with it.

I need to get the pork belly out of the freezer for tomorrow, which we will have with roasties and veg.

Essex girl, ouch, I hope your ds is not in too much pain xx

Nic, what a sad situation, hope it all works out for them both x

    Jaynnie, welcome xx

snoozer, good luck with the breast screening xx

    Have good days all xx
