    So to make sure that we are not being sarcastic or [STRIKE]condescending[/STRIKE] rude to other users do we have to reduce our[STRIKE] vocabulary[/STRIKE] words so as not to offend.
    Surely if you find some cartoon characters offensive you need to lock yourself in a darkened room in case life offends you. That was sarcastic by the way :D

    Just in case they all get banned....

    It's not he most important issue in the world but it's such a silly decision that I thought it was April 1st!
    I'm not sure how to stop people from being nasty other than having moderation at all times and answering people's complaints , but removing some smilies is treating the majority of MSE users (who don't bully or cause trouble) as children.

    I used the confused icon a lot because 95% of life confuses me!
