I'm I being conned by tradesman ?

Hi,was just wondering if any of you"Trades people"will give me thier opinion........... Story............ Needed the bathroom tiling & wanted to replace the sink. Asked a local tiler to give us a quote for the "Complete Job" He didn't measure up & Took OH calculations of "approx" 17sqm - all he asked "is it a cash job?"…

I appreciate he should have measure up , but if your OH said 17sq m2 and it was more i would pay the extra. Especially if he did a good job, A good tradesman is worth his weight in gold.

I can't understand people who suggest you don't pay him. He did the extra tiling he deserves the extra money.
