I remember on a couple of my aborted long runs becky I tried to walk at a 15 min mile pace and for my little legs that was quite hard work...worse than running tbh

There's definitely a 'flow' pace with running (whatever that pace is for the person) where they naturally gravitate too, I dont get that with walking - I have to concentrate all the time... but honestly people do walk so quickly around here I have just adapted to be the same...find myself tutting now which is poor :o

Yep and if the shoes are good I am going to wear them on Sunday :D, they make a few minutes difference over that kind of distance which is nice because although my times are faster now - when I ran this race last year I set this crazy blistering pb and I want to beat it because I know I am fitter now ;)

At least if I dont beat my pb the course is different so I'll just blame that :D:rotfl::rotfl:

I will, but you've got to try your hardest to get there.

Getting fed up of outfit hunting now, you might all have to put up with me in whatever I've already got :o
