Receive credit agreement to sign today. Sent back with photocopy of passport - they need ID but not originals, which is weird as I'm already an existing customer.

Applied online 09/02/10 so just over 3 weeks to get agreement. Could have been worse. Course, still not got the card yet and no idea of credit limit.

got a limit of £5,400 in the end (they don't tell you till the card arrives)
doing a transfer of 95% via egg money mastercard.
should be worth £272 against my offset mortgage at 6% (fixed just before the crash) so i'm happy!

They'll tell you as soon as the account is set up (3-7 days before you get the card/PIN). I rang them when I received my PIN, and before the card arrived, and they told me my limit and confirmed the requested BT had been processed. If I'd rung a couple of days earlier, so long as the letters (PIN and card) had been initiated, I was told they'd have told me then.

Being mortgage free (thanks largely to 4 years successful stoozing), I'm having to make do with 3.2% net in LTSB Vantage accounts. Still, it's all free money! :D

Just received the money into my Egg Money account therefore it is in credit by several thousands

It's a while since I've done any "fast stoozing" via Egg and was wondering how I go about transferring it to my current account

Do I just select "Balance transfers" then "current account / overdraft"

I seem to remember there being a way of doing it under the "Egg Money Admin" tab

I don't want to get hit with any fees

Yup, that's how I did it.

So long as you don't create a credit balance, your statement will show something like:

    31 Mar 2010 T/FER 0.00 AT 1.019% INT PER MONTH £0.00

My wife just got a £2300 limit, and £1800 (asked for 5K) was initially transferred to Egg Money.
Is it still possible to transfer more from the remaining £500 at the original £0 fee BT offer?

Always worth phoning to ask, be sure to note the date, time, name of the person you speak to and their team number just incase.
