you shoul dbe able to get it off with a damp cloth and some stardrops - test for colourfast-ness in a hidden spot first. Good luck!

Herbal where have you been - stardrops thread is mega pages!
Since you obviously don't have it, can you maybe just tried a bit of washing up liquid and water and see if that helps, it should as its water-based paint.0 -
Thanks Anne_Marie, Sorry i'm not up with the times, where can i get it from?0

Sorry Herbal, hope you didn't think I was being cheeky, just when I reread my post there!
Stardrops is the all wonder solution which has been going for loads of years, sort of pre-war! I got mine in Semi-Chem. There is a thread on here

- hope the link works, I am not good at links, otherwise some other nice person will come and fix it for me!
I knew nothing about it either, but been using it for a wee while now, and it is good stuff
and cheap!
Good luck with the carpet.0 -

How much volume are we talking about? loads or just a few specs? We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I'd give WD40 a go, spray it on, leave it for a bit and give it a good ol' scrub with a brush, pan scourer or something rough and "bristly". If you have accidental damage cover on your home contents insurance, make a claim! My little angel poured gloss paint on our sofa and carpet when he was 1 1/2 years old, and my insurance company paid out for both!0

I was just so mad it's a wonder he didn't kill us all with the fumes, he sleeps in the loft bedroom so the smell wasn't noticeable untill i ventured upstairs, he had windows shut door closed and heating full on:eek: (he found the paint in the shed and thought it would be a good idea to spray his expensive electric guitar red!!
