Hi chums had a lovely night at the am-dram and came out to get a nice present from Medway Council, a tasty little parking ticket for £25.Wheels not quite in the disabled parking bay area by about two inches , even though my badge was displayed and got a ticket at 9.00p.m.:( tonight ,came out of theatre at 10.15.p.m.Oh well such is life, and I shall pay up and hope it goes to good use.
Just off to bed to have a read ,school run tomorrow morning followed by dentist appointment for a filling:eek: life just gets better doesn't it:p

JackieO, I had a parking ticket cancelled on appeal when the badge wasn't even in the car (I had forgotten to put it in) as there was an asterisk missing from the sign, so it wasn't a legal bay!

I had written to the council and asked politely if they would reconsider, enclosing proof of the badge, etc, but the replies I had got back from them had been so rude, I decided to go to tribunal and they chucked the whole ticket out, which was very nice, because in my area the disabled bay parking offences carry a much, much higher penalty charge than yours.

There is a board on MSE that deals with parking tickets, which might help (or in my case, completely confuse me) but it wouldn't hurt to think about contacting the council, if you wanted to. You would be able to see the warden's photos, as it is easy to make mistakes in the dark and nobody checks the pictures before the tickets are issued.
