Achelois CCCS divide payments so that the biggest balance gets the most and so on. If it were me and I could spare the cash I would pay in enough to cover the diff, but them Im a bit of a chicken when it comes to calling!! No harm in contacting them though.Debt at LBM - £11,505Debt 2011 = [STRIKE]8K[/STRIKE] £7760 - DF in July 2013DMP Paddle no. 1 Sealed Pot No. 1375Grocery Challenge Aug £418.31/£450 Sept £ /£4500

So based on a pro rata arrangement - all my creditors will not really see THAT much of a difference
No1 - will actually get £3.70 less!
No2 - will get £6.10 more
No3 - will get £28.28 more
No4 - will get £30.26 more
No5 - will get £4.77 more
No6 - will get £30.74 less (credit card with silly interest!)
So all in all, I am hoping it bodes well for them all agreeing to the DMP as they would be silly not to! ok - they lose the interest etc but at least they will get their money and faster than they would do if I was paying myself!
thanks again for all your help

Sorry me again, still freaking out about the default notice!!:eek:
Just one question - where does this now go? Is my debt still with Nationwide or has it been passed to someone else? I still haven't heard anything from them on DMP so is it worth me calling them and explaining?
Also, what's the difference been a 'default notice' and 'default sum' - which you see on credit card statements??
Any help MUCH appreciated xPaddle No 16

HI me again - sorry! Goodness me, the more I read the more I panic and see more problems. Here is my latest thought on going ahead with the DMP; problem: The loan with Tesco Finance I only got in November 2009 - I received the money straight away but the payments were deferred for 3 months from the start of the loan - the first payment for this loan come out this Thursday!!! does this not look like I obtained the loan fraudulently if after only paying one months instalment I bang it straight onto a DMP? I cant see how they would possibly allow this. Same with Natwest (my current account), if I this month pay all my bills etc this month out of my overdraft and then put this overdraft into the DMP, I think this looks horrendously dodgy.
I am NOT dodgy by the way! Im just seeing things how it would look from their point of view. I feel like I am going to be put in prison or something if I go ahead with this DMP. I am so scared, what is the right way forward for me? xxx:(0 -
Losing have you actually spoken to a CCCS counseller? I would write a list of all these if, buts and maybes and ask them one by one what they think. It doesn't look dodgy to me as it just looks like the rest of us, people on the edge of panic trying to juggle our finances while at the end of our tethers. CCCS see it all the time, i bet there is nothing new in your situation that they haven't dealt with 100 times before. So go give them a ring and see what they say, they are all lovely to deal with.More than Two Years in

Hi, yes, I did speak to a CCCS last week and she told me I could have a telephone appointment on Monday 22nd Feb, in the meantime I did the CCCS Debt Remedy and chose the DMP option, this was on the 11th February but I am still waiting for the paperwork and telephone appointment hence all the questions on here.
I really appreciate all your responses as I know I am a panicker and am probably getting on peoples nerves, I am just finding is all so difficult and confusing! x0 -
Hi I have recently completed CCCS debt remedy as i have £25k debt on cc's and a loan. CCCS have suggested a DMP over 6 years I am struggling with minimum payments. I havent defaulted on any of them and are not in my overdraft with the bank. I havent click on the DMP button on the remedy yet as I feel so ashamed that I have got myself in this situation. I dont have anyone to talk to about it. I'm a single mum.0

Well done for recognising you are in debt and need to do something about it. There is no shame, at least not here because we're mostly all in the same boat. We hadn't missed a payment with any of our huge debt pile but couldn't continue struggling to pay all the minimums then have a huge lump of interest wipe out the payment. eegh. We feel much better since starting our DMP (early days) no one has been horrible and most have been reasonable (exceptions being Lloyds). The thing is we are fixing it and have all the other guys on the threads to talk to about it, so welcome, we're here to help and if we can't, someone will pop along who can.More than Two Years in

Hi Candypop and Welcome... you'll get lots of support on here and Well Done for acknowledging that you have to do something... please don't feel ashamed, use that energy to sort it all out... click on that button when you are ready, I know it's a big step...
Hi Candypop,
Don't feel ashamed. I am in the same amount of debt as you and it makes me feel rubbish..... But we are doing something about it which is the main thing. It takes time but you will get there, slowly but surely. I started my DMP this month and its seems to be working.
Good luck it'll be the best thing you've done.
