What I think I am going to do to make it easier is just move everything into the TSB (salary plus Child Benefit and Child Tax Credit) and then slowly arrange for the direct debits to be moved from the natwest to the TSB. Im gonna have to go and find all the paperwork for all the direct debits that come out, which will be hard work, and find the numbers to ring to change them. DOes anyone know the numbers for Child Benefit and Child Tax Credit?
How long should I expect it to be before the DMP paperwork comes from CCCS.
Thanks again guys x
If you think that'll be easier then, I definitely think it's a good idea. You can always look at other (Co-Op) accounts at a later date if you need to. What I would suggest it that you remove any overdraft facility that may be attached to your TSB account, this way you can't get stuck again!
If you do online banking with NatWest? You can normally check online when the DDs come out/amount/payee etc. when I've called up to change mine, it's been fairly straight forward, although I'd allow a week or two before the DD due date to change over as some can be slower than others!! (O2 I'm talking about you!)
Any numbers you need should be on statements etc.
I would say from filling in Debt Remedy online to CCCS contact creditors etc. took about 3 weeks. Although I'm yet to hear from ANY creditors  Due to make my first CCCS payment on 1st March
Keep us posted on how you get on! xPaddle No 16

I have just contacted Payplan (literally, just got off the phone 2 minutes ago!) about a DMP and they are sending all the paperwork out to me. It's sounding quite daunting at the moment and the thought of sending the letters to the creditors is brining me out in a cold sweat
I owe about 6k but I'm feeling a little better knowing I've taken steps to do something, albiet small ones.0 -
hi folks,
done debt remedy with cccs last night they are sending me all the paperwork but the information i was reading on there website i cant access now. So just wondering, when my creditors call (and dont they like to call) do i tell them im entering in a dmp with cccs yet or not as i have no account number to give them. hoping the paperwork dont take long to come, i feel relieved to be tackling the problem but still in limbo as to what happens next.
cheers for any help..0 -

Me personally..... I would avoid them until you get your paperwork and then in that paperwork you get a standard "notification of DMP" to send to all your creditors. I wouldnt mention it to them until you have everything "officially"
