 In my pre-mse days I would have been massively jealous as Waitrose don't appear to have heard of Cornwall :rotfl: but now, I don't know where I would be without my ShopT blue stripe 14p spaghetti!!!
Lol, think there's one in Saltash but that's probably the closest you'll get (hope I'm remembering that right; just outside Plymouth).
We used to do ShopT online shops, but now seem to do better with Nectar points than Clubcard vouchers. And ShopS Basics stuff is surprisingly good at times.
I buy porridge from Waitrose, bizarrely it's cheaper than anywhere else!0 -

Morning All!
Good luck with Next chocolates (love the name btw), they were great with me, very understanding and straightforward. Keep us posted!Paddle No 16

Morning everyone.
I gave my last five pound note to DH today for petrol. The 60p left in my wallet should buy some biscuits… what an extravagant life I lead!
Also going to pop into Specsavers to transfer my direct debit (contact lenses).
Oooooh Rhian, contact lenses...my BIGGEST bug bear! I think it's scandalous how much they charge! I got fed up of paying £30 a month so did some digging with the help of MSE and now use http://www.daysoftcontactlenses.com/GB/CountryHomepage.aspx
Just as good as anything on High St and much cheaper. Don't need to worry about DDs, I just but a supply when I need too. You can still get an eye test free from Specsavers, just tell them to sod off when they try and sell you their fancy lenses

£30 a month?! What type did you have? My current ones are £8 a month, which includes the solution and check ups. I used to have ones you can sleep in, which I loved, but they were £15 a month so I cut back to cheap ones. I'm tempted to go back to nice ones though if our budgets work out.
Thanks for the link though - will check it out!0 -
Good morning All,
Well done True on your medal!!!:T:T:T
Cant stop laughing at Ted "can you pawn it?" Another MSE tip I think?
My LLOYDS loan offer has been accepted for 10 months satrting 30th March, which is good. I only have 8 to go.
I have not been around for along time but things are looking good and we are still all on the same path by the looks of things.Live for Today, Nobody is guaranteed Tomorrow:happylove0 -
I use Daysoft lenses too, they're the daily disposables, and just as good as the ones I was buying from Vision Express0

£8?...Blimey. I was foolishly with a independent optician for years but when I looked into Specsavers it was only a couple of quid cheaper...I think it was the brand I was using (Johnson & Johnson) but they wouldn't let me change...GrrrrrPaddle No 16

Thanks for the info re CAB True, sorry to go on about it...it's my version of the A shop, needing to know what to expect..hoping to get some confidence back once the job situation is settled and I have some head space to think things through....
Only 11 more A shop and W free days to go and I can get back to blah de blah, trolleys, Ws etc.... There was an A shop advert on TV last night, I was beside myself with excitement....:D
Ha Ha!! I saw the shopA ad last night...it made me think of you! :rotfl:Paddle No 16
