Starting my DMP on 1st Feb... Anyone want to join me?

Evening ladies, the phone barrage has started: 4 witheld numbers since I got in from work at 6, answered one and it went dead, no messages left on the others. Pathetic, aren't we supposed to be adults?

I have a theory that if you speak to them they will go away, its certainly worked for me, mind you, only had 4 phone calls, but they were all talkable to, not too bright and some of them are clearly clinging to a script, but able eventually to get through to them.

I'm really up for speaking to them, as if you remember BoS are my main creditor (3 CCs and a loan) and they advised me to contact Payplan. Anyway, it would appear that it's all part of the game we seem to have to play. :cool:

Thanks for birthday wishes for my DS he had a lovely day. Even his Dad turned up to see him. He got lots of cash from family and friends so I know who to go to for a loan Not that I will need to this month because fingers crossed by payday this Thursday I will have some money left over for the first time in ages. Feel embarrased about having to get a DMP but strangely good about not having used any CC's this month and not going overdrawn. I have even started to write down every penny I spend in a book as I was always switching here and there and forgetting what I had spent. :j

I know what you mean about keeping track - a friend of ours is king of the spreadsheets with his own (immaculate) finances, so he's going to set one up for us to help us track everything.

Morning everyone.

I gave my last five pound note to DH today for petrol. The 60p left in my wallet should buy some biscuits… what an extravagant life I lead!

Also going to pop into Specsavers to transfer my direct debit (contact lenses).
