Hi Candypop,
I've found this on a post from Dark Convict in Dec 2009....
If you defaulted in 2006, then the default would have been on your file since then. The DCA shouldn't have added one more recently, it is upto the original creditor to place a default within 6 months of you defaulting and them notifying you they are placing a default.
A default lasts only 6 years so should expire in 2012, a DCA can't change the default start date as it would mean it stays on your file for over 6 years whilst is not allowed.
Lets' hope CCCS confirm when they reply to you....
hope so... I'll let you know as soon as I find outTake Care

sounds like what I thought, would be no point in doing a DMP if it was 12/18 years before you were clean on the credit side. Well done Sherlock, you can have a puff at your pipe now.More than Two Years in

Personally I quite like the caramel ones better than the chocolate ones. We had the mozzerella and chorizo meatball out of Aldi tonight and they were fab, nearly passed them off as my own................no as if I would, course not, well nearlyMore than Two Years in

Oh I love it, I was more excited about getting the house to myself for a night than the payrise when he got the job!! :rotfl::rotfl:
I'm snuggled on the sofa, cat one side, dog the other, beer in hand and the entire series of Secret Diary of a Call Girl to devour before my wonderful hubby brings home the junk food :rotfl::rotfl:
Anyone remember the carefree Friday nights, drinking cheap plonk and listening to Radio 1 and then hitting the local scabby club and sticking to the carpet for a few hours then grabbing cheesy chips on the way home? Oh, those were the days :rotfl::rotfl:

Nothing like a bit of financial implosion to drive you to drink PDD :rotfl:Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840

aah it was sticking to the scabby carpet that brought it all back.....................
to this day, if I walk into premises and stick to the carpet,......I'm off. I was psychologically damaged by those scabby carpets in my youth........fell of the sofa laughingMore than Two Years in
