Good luck PDD let us know how you get on, still debating wether to ring them or not, half of me wants to come clean with them and the other half is scared what they'll do to my account, tax credit went in RBS a/c today so they've not sorted it yet.

Nothing debt related to report, nada, zilch, sweet FA. Which I suppose is good in a way, but its making me over-react and worry constantly hence the wobbles! Oh well.....

Have decided not to go down the CCCS route and stick to self management - I'm too much of a control freak I think, and I can name drop them in my letters anyway.

Who out if you guys is with RBS i haven't had them mention my deliquency just that i'm with Credit management services AKA Triton. who wwith Tesco on here, they are run byRBS just in case you didn'y know.

I'm with Triton and I had the pleasure of making one of their staff members feel a little foolish yesterday when I phoned them re: constant texts about a wrong account number!!

Hi Everyone, I'm back in the land of the living...just!

Quite a eventful few days, as well as my best friends wedding falling on my birthday (Sat), bridesmaids duties etc. I also got struck down with THAT sickness bug the morning of the wedding. I literally was an immodium advert! :eek:

Have spent the last 3 days hiding in bed as it completely wiped me out, mind you, did wonders for my diet!!

Just a quick update from me, some good news...some very painful news.

Next - called to say they hadn't had any correspondence from CCCS, just 2 letters from me. I explained how much the payments will be from CCCS and he said 'that's fine we except and will change to 0%, we'll send a letter to confirm'...wowzer. So 1 down 6 to go.

HSBC - still stalking me, so I gave in on Monday and called them (bearing in mind I still felt dreadful so not in the best of moods) and the woman on the phone (god know where she was) said, 'your account is in credit (by £8)' :eek: She actually couldn't tell me why they had kept call me morning, noon and night for the last 2 weeks :mad: when I explain the DMP/CCCS thing she again didn't have a clue (!!!!!!!) so gave me a different number. When I called this number a guy said he couldn't tell me anything over the phone and they'd communicate acceptance with CCCS only, not me??? :mad:

When I spoke to the CCCS they said they hadn't heard anything from anyone ('no news in good news') and that sometimes, they never do. The creditor just accepts the payments.

I have just logged onto my online banking with HSBC and the £5 token payment for my loan had been paid into my current account...why I don't know, as I was very clear in the letter what this was for. I give up.

Barclaycard are also stalking me so I'm sending them a 'sod off, only write to me' letter.

Anyway, I've waffled on enough, hope you all have a good Wednesday x

Gosh, it's quiet here today! Well, I was hoping to get something in the post today from CCCS but nothing, just 30% off La redoute, one of my creditors LOL! No phone calls yet, truecall is running well, but I keep checking 1471 and no-one unwanted has called. I'm feeling a lot calmer than yesterday, got a good nights sleep too. I just can't wait until the DMP is up and running. I'm still having a few probs cutting out unnecessary purchases, nothing big but a bit here and there. I think the best thing for me is to withdraw the cash and stash it under the bed as it is internet shopping that catches me out. Of course it's my debit card I'm using but if it was cash, I find that harder to part with. I am actually having quite a few NSD so I suppose 15.00 today and 20.00 last week, plus postage, postal orders, and a bus fare isn't too bad....

It has been very quiet today - where is everyone??!!

I've just had a bit of goodish news, well, its cheered me up anyway! Our electricity company has agreed to change our meters from pre-pay to normal! I reckon that can save us about £80 a month :j how cool is that!!

just got in, knackered.
nothing very exciting in the post except OH's Lloyds statement, the caring sharing bank charged £107.58 on a CCCS payment of £116.25. This is their idea of reducing interest to a "manageable level" God help me!!!!

One missed call again from the 0800 number that I think is Citi - don't they know I leave the house at 6.45 and don't get back til after 5!!!!!
