That piece was another prime example of media bias coming out of the BBC.
I am not paying my TV licence anymore.
Its just a marketing subsidy for Labour.
I think the BBC is 'making hay whilst the sun shines'.
The Tories will clip the wings of the BBC, I have no doubt.
What angers me about the way the BBC is managed and overseen and also the composition of the BBC Trust. They are supposed to represent the views of the Licence payer. My thought is that they are all an unrepresentative bunch of professionals who probably have absolutely no affinity with the ordinary viewer. There are no 'ordinary' members of the public placed as a Trustee.
I do not believe they hold the BBC management to account either and Sir Michael Lyons is, in my view, as dubious as Politicians. He, alledgedly, draws a huge salary and claims an enormous amount in expenses.
And of course they do not insist on a politically impartial BBC.0 -

Well they certainly aren't impartial & haven't been as far as I am concerned since Dyke went.
I sense a few Alistair Campbells' hanging about in the Directors office 24-7.Not Again0 -
Of course the BBC are not impartial.
The One Show last Thursday ran a complete hatchet job on Cameron and had to print an apology on their website because they had a record number of complaints.
Anyone who is politically aware will notice than a sniff of an anti tory story will be ramped up whilst anything that shows the Labour government in a bad light is ignored/glossed over - particularly in the last couple of months.0 -
My district council expects it to be on May 6th!!

I was chatting to the caretaker of my Village Hall this morning and he told me the Hall has been provisionally booked for March 25th or May 20th by the 'powers that be'
Seems a bit odd that the powers that be would and could chose to share their knowledge with a gossiping caretaker, but keep it hidden from the global media!0 -

I'm !!!!!!ed then !!!!
The Village Hall is booked for the Ladies Bridge Club that day 'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

I think that date is the bookies and all the political pundits favourite.
I will book the 7th May off work and have the champagne ready in the fridge. Seeing the faces of Brown, Balls, Flint, Blears, Harperson et al when they are summarily ejected from Govt is going to be one to savour!0 -
