Oh Lowsey, I am so sorry, I had the same thing 3 times between my 2nd and 3rd babies. It is so devastating........have a big ((((((((((((((((HUG)))))))))))))
On a slightly brighter note, one of the missing items I wrote about has made it way home. A parcel arrived this morning with my beginners quilting teaching notes in along with a note and a moving gift. All I need now is for the other book to appear and I will be a very happy bunny!!!
Foot lady has just been, we both have nice feet now.

Afternoon all.
Big ((((HUGS)))) wherever they're needed today, esp Tris & Michelle, Nic, Lowesy so sorry to hear your news, and all others with troubles of any sort just now. Sorry, my brain's a but fuddled today - lack of sleep (Bitsy I do SOOOO sympathise, and I don't even have kids!)
N9eav more power to you, you must have a really grim time with your work sometimes, and my hat's off to you.
Mehefin well done to your DS.
Thanks everyone for the support while I'm going through sa crisis of confidence; that's the best way I can think to describe it. I'm not helped by the thought of a birthday with a 0 on the end in 3 months time - dreading it, if I'm honest. But your kind words mean a lot; really.
I've done my Flylady stuff for the day, so all my dragons are sparkly clean (well, at least the ones I can get to without hurting myself); still got my Wii Fit+ to do in a bit.
No cooking to do today, as dins is the 2nd half of the quiche I made yesterday. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Lowesy so sorry to hear that, hugs to you and your DH, take some time out to heal and rest hon xx
Just having a quick coffee before picking DS up. He hasnt been settling well at school recently and has been very "wound up" at home.. I am used to him getting up early in the morning but now he wont settle at night either and it is often 11ish when he falls asleep despite being put to bed early at 7 30. he flaps and sings and talks to himself and comes downstairs causing temper tantrums and kicking everything when we take him back up, It is really getting me down at the mo as his behaviour is exhausting.
N9eav I used to have the ability to leave it all at work but since getting older and having DS I find awful things from work follow me home and I struggle to push them out of my head.
Infact mon was a bit of a lightbulb moment for me as far as my job goes.....after spending a day wading around in blood and in the end being unable to save the person, I spent a sleepless night with it all going around my head, I think one of the worst apects was his mum ringing during it to see what time he would be ready to be picked up( was due to go home).
I then faced a dressing down on Tues for having unpaid time off the week before as DS was ill and we have no one else to help out with him:mad:.
I realised I have had enough of this depressing thankless job and as soon as I can leave I will.
not much OS today, making chicken pie later. have ironing to do:rolleyes:
OHs dad finally agreed to lend the money for a new van so ordered the money at the bank for friday and new van search begins sat.
Hugs to all in need....sorry for being a whinger:o
Lamewolf i am not sure which Bday is approaching but I am 40 in March!0 -
Afternoon everyone
Didn't manage to post yesterday, but read through.
Feel quite exhausted today, ds2 had his pins taken out on Monday afternoon. Last night he only went to sleep at 11.30pm and was up just after 7 this morning. He has been at home now for just over 2 months with me and is only sleeping about 7/8 hours a night so is awake before me and in bed just before me.
had ham sandwiches for lunch, dinner will be pasta with salmon and broccoli. not much os for me today, will put wm on later and sort out clothes to be put away.
MSD Tris and Michelle are in my thoughts and prayers

NPM if you can't tell us on here, then where can you? Sounds like life is treating you less than well at the mo. Would a Wolfy (((HUG))) be of any use?
Oh, and I'm 50 in April Shhhh!:cool:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Lowesy - so sorry to hear your news. A big hug for you and hubby xxxxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Hi Guys,
Feeling rather subdued today. I have just got back from hospital appointment and been there for hours. Im really getting worse not better. When I got home I found a letter and questionnaire to complete for ESA again. I mean its been less than a year since I filled in the last one. Its such a faff and makes me feel really depressed writing down all my problems and what I cant do. Its soooooo depressing.
Im so tired now that there will be minimal OS. I have done two loads of washing and DD finally sorted her bedroom after I threatened to bin bag all possessions on the floor. As that was practically the entire contents of said bedroom she set to and got it sorted. Not sure what for tea...I have ingredients for stirfry but we will see.
NPM - I understand where you coming from totally x
NicLou - glad op went ok - take it steady with recovery.
Lamewolf - hope you feeling brighter

Hi all,
Just a very quick post to say that the scan did not go well. It has been discovered that I have had a missed miscarriage and am going to be booked in for an operation shortly. Needless to say DH and I are devastated. Not sure what else to say really.
Thanks to everyone for their advice and concern so far.
xx
Sorry to hear that lowesy. Hope you're ok
Congratulations to your DS, mehefin.
Girls had a lovely time at Japanese, despite their grumbles of how tired they were and how cold it was, this morning. We spoke to the tutor at the end, about them going forward to do their GCSE, and although it will be a lot of work, the girls are keen, so we will look at this in 12 months time, perhaps
Normally, we stay with our friend after Japanese and do something there, but we came straight home today, which I was pleased with, as I feel mentally exhausted right now.
DD1 has taken herself back to bed and DD2 is putting her new skateboard together, for about the 10th time :DThere is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0
