Girls are up now and finishing breakfast.

Taxi has been booked and baguettes baked / cheese grated. Cheese just needs to meet baguette, now :D

DDs have the heat up high, so now I'm too hot. They hate cold, early mornings and I would never delight in waking them up early :A:D;):rotfl:

Good to hear you got some sleep last night bitsy :)

    Good Morning!
Your poor OH Essexgirl - bet that was painful!
Diva - will keep Tris and Michelle in my thoughts and prayers.
N9eav - don't know how you can do your job - keeping the ability to be detached must be the only way,
Aussie - how exciting! How the flight isn't too boring and that you have a great time! Wish I could make the meet, but have relations coming that day and really can't put them off.
Managed to have a really productive day yesterday by makin myself use a timer and rotating jobs. Really did get loads more done than I expected....but still loads to do. Cancelled the kitchen planning session as I felt we were being too pressured and with such a major expense I need to feel in control of what we do - I'm sure there'll be another kitchen offer along within a couple of months and by then maybe I'll have a clearer picture of what I want.
I hope my marmalade oranges are going to be OK - I won't have time to deal with them today. Here's hoping I can get to it tomorrow!
DH has day off today, so probably won't get as much done. I hope you all have a good day. Take care.

  • Morning, not much o/s the first part of the day I am at college for 9.30 today as I have an exam :( I should be ok but I need to chuck the lorazepam down my neck first and advise my support worker at college that I have taken one ( I have a scribe/worker to help and assist in lectures) If I dont tell her and I go sleepy she is not going to have a clue.
Am tired did not sleep too well last night, but that is because I did not have James in the bed with me after 4 nights together you get used to it.

Right off I go, getting in early so I know where the room is, have a coffee and revise some more..

  • MSD – still thinking of Tris and Michelle and trying my best to send healing vibes to them both.
Sunndyday – sounds like a right palaver! It must be incredibly frustrating. Remember – deep breaths!
Essex-Girl – Our last dog was hopeless at the vets. She would try and hide under the row of chairs in the waiting room, but as she was a fairly large Labrador cross, she usually ended up with two or three chairs balancing on her back! Current Puppy-Dog absolutely LOVES the vet. She feeds him nice things every time he goes in, so even last Monday’s check-up after his neutering up he barrelled in desperate for his treat! Bless him.

I have had an unexpected £124 appear in my bank account, listed with a totally unrecognisable reference number. So priority for today is to find out where that’s come from! I also need to ring the company that made our kitchen bin, which has broken after less than a month. It has a 10 year guarantee so hopefully it should be straightforward enough to sort. I’ve typed that letter to my old teacher so I need to write that out (I hate sending typed letters. It seems so impersonal). I remembered to get the mince out of the freezer to defrost for our HM Lasagne with HM wedges tonight. Must remember to hide at least one portion of it otherwise OH will scoff the lot! I must confess I bought one of those packet mixes for the lasagne. I know, I know, but I can’t seem to get it to taste as good without one of those. Shocking. I also need to decide what to do with my one evening a week that OH says I should go out. I’m hovering around a Creative Writing Course, Pilates, or a Reading Group. Decisions, decisions!

Lunch today is leftover Leek & Tomato Soup (From my Usborne First Book Of Cookery. I was given it when I was 9 and I still use it now!).

Last night was a bit of a wash-out really. OH was home early, which meant I didn’t get my jobs done. Took Puppy-Dog for a walk. He’s still on lead-walks only and he’s getting wound up – all he wants to do is run! Also vacuumed the bedroom. I had planned to sort out the stairs / entrance hall, but vacuuming the stairs really does require OH to distract the dog and neither of us could really get motivated!

Must try harder. Love to everybody!

Just time to say 'Hello' before I go to work. Went in for a meeting yesterday afternoon, but this is my first 'proper' day back. ONe long lesson, so hoping I'll be OK. Thanks for the kind wishes.

Working on sewing job (for ££! woop woop!) for the rest of the day, so will set up the SAD lamp by my side then.

    Have a good day folks.

Gemma - am dreading it more because its so embrassing. He is a staff - he just sits there shaking & thats just in the waiting room. He doesnt even feel the injection but flinches the whole time because he knows its coming :rotfl:

OH is moaning about his leg - it does look painful but I think his dented pride was worse, also the fact that it was totally his own fault :D you can tell how sympathetic I am.

Just finishing a coffee then going to have a quick look on the grabbit board - need to be good and look out for things that we buy anyway but some of the bargains for nice stuff is sooo hard to resist!
