-managed to walk, wait and pay for something in the shop.
-managed to walk even further to rest in the local pub.
all this time could of been spent rolling the car round the corner and sleeping in it.
if i fall 'suddenly ill' i will stop wherever i am and let the police safely deal with me.
get your wallet out davie!
You are forgetting that she had a child with her. She probably just wanted to get somewhere safely and quickly in case she was taken further ill, so that he child was OK.
But then as you are a bloke I wouldnt expect you to even consider that.;)0 -

Yes that will explain why she drove to a garage, went and got a drink, didnt say anything to anyone, then went to the pub.

I agree with Anihilator. She entered the garage to buy a bottle of water. She HAD to have had some interaction with the cashier. Could she not have simply informed them of her situation then?
However, she didn't and is now in a dilemma. To be honest i think the manager was !!!!!! (and quite rightly so), but is probably just trying to scare the OP and make her realise what a twonk she has been.
I doubt anything will come of this.0
