hmm how do i do that please?

Go to File > Import and Export then Export Favourites.

Follow the Wizard through to create a file called bookmarks.htm, which is a complete backup of your favourites. Should anything happen during the upgrade you will be able to import the contents through the same menu.

  • I use IE6, Firefox and Safari since they all have good and bad points.
Perhaps I should get round to upgrading IE6 to see if it's any better.
  • I would recommend upgrading.

Apparently DEP protection for IE8 against the Google/Auora exploit has been broken:

I would definitely upgrade to version 8 if you insist on using IE; far too many serious security loopholes in previous versions - and especially IE6 ;).

Oh, and welcome to MSE GoT:hello:
