definite run post party.... its a lovely place to run, we did 2-3 miles in October around the villages there, very nice....

i will be doing 10-11 by then, and wont be able to miss a session.... but in theory so should some of the others by then too so we can plan a route (or bunny can) with easy get home opt outs after 2-3 miles, and maybe after 6 miles?? and then on for 10 miles?

i for one, refuse to walk up a mountain this year...! but i am up for a carvery before i hit the motorway to head home!!

So anyone planning trains home, make it about 4pm or later....

My 'official' GNR training plan doesn't start till March so until then it's just 'Run as often as possible - Don't get injured'.

So taking hangover into account, I may join you for the first 3 miles. :rotfl: (Not sure I could drive for 3 hours after a longer run - it makes me either too wired or too knackered)

I'll have to set off home by about 3pm to be back in time for the kids coming home, but as may well be on CD, I might have to give the carvery a miss anyway and just join you for a coffee.

I agree running then eating then driving 7 hours in my case, is really not the best... but the run and carvery will blow away the hangover anyway...... lots of stops when i have erin anyway........

I do wonder now if the train might be viable?

Actually, have just remembered that Linda mentioned car sharing so had better check what their plans for coming home are!

If I can get the day off work then I will have a look into trains too, but if I have to work till 3pm, I'll just have to leap straight in the car and fly down the motorway, getting there for 6-ish.

ooo One of the other ladies that works with me has handed her notice in... now I might be able to do some jiggery pokery and change some hours and take a few more on :)

My dilema is this..the course I want to do I think last year (or this current year) runs on a Thursday and Friday all day, I currently work Mon, Tues and Thurs mornings. I thought I might ask to do all day on Mon & Tues and drop Thurs. Would give me an extra 3.5 hours a week. However come Sep if they change the course days Im up shiite creak. Not sure whether its worth it?

  • Afternoon all,

    Hope you're all ok?

I might have to give this running lark another try but when it's dark, so instead of scaring people with my running style, I'll scare the cats instead! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
