:eek::eek: OMG how do you run in makeup - dont you get sweaty??

I care about my appearance normally, but when I am running I care only about how I feel - does it fit, does it chaff, does it wick etc...when I feel good then I run better but it doesnt make any difference how I look, in fact I find it offputting when I wear my tight leggings as van drivers etc make a fuss and it knocks me out of the zone when they beep :o

Chafing! Summer walking=lycra shorts under the trousers. Winter is fleece-lined Craghoppers. Lovely.
Which is what I have just put on and the dogs are going nuts, so its a walk then...

...and unless you run up the Archway or Caledonian Road/Kings Cross or Islington......it wasn't me!
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

:rotfl: I don't sweat enough to remove waterproof mascara, no. I don't usually arrive home with my lipgloss still intact but it helps stop my lips drying out. The mental aspect is about setting off feeling as though I look okay, not needing to arrive home still immaculate.

My front view generally attracts more attention than my back view (no idea why....) so I usually avoid beeps and shouting if I run on the left hand side of the road. But I rarely run where there are a lot of cars/lorries anyway, just a few dog walkers and other runners.

I did once have a man shout 'Look at the norks on that!' (:rotfl: classy area I live in) as I ran round the reservoir, which probably did put me off my stride as I recovered from laughing, but if I'm really in the zone, nothing much will phase me anyway, even if I'm interrupted.

:rotfl: If they squeak rhythmically, I would tune it out. So you will have to run at a very even pace. :D

Yes I do remember this in Leeds, hollering at you when you were about a foot away and yet you still didn't bat an eye lid :rotfl:

:o Ooops! I did eventually realise someone was shouting me, and waved back frantically, but I think you'd gone past by then. :D

I didn't even have my iPod on, so I guess I am just oblivious!

Is anyone running on the Sunday after Bunny's party? Do I need to bring my kit?
