Shopped around for car insurance and have saved 20%. This saving is now being used for other savings so I'm ahead on the monthly savings for this month. :)

Due to the savings on the car insurance I am now a bit ahead for once for all my regular savings. What I do is I use one isa for these savings and the other for other savings - (I don't have 2 isas, one is mine, the other is the OH's). It doesn't matter that I have to take money out at different times in the year as I never save the full amount. Last tax year I did this and I earned £16 in interest. Every little helps.

Tomorrow have an appointment with Santander so that I can get their loyalty isa. Also have to post off my student loans claim form and some more paperwork to open a new bank account.

Am thinking about my 100 days challenge target which I reduced by £100 but I actually paid off more I just did not count the cc which the overdraft is on for some strange reason. Oh well. For the next challenge I am going to put £1000 for cc debt. This will take care of the cc debt and the overdraft cc debt. I have not added this overdraft cc debt to the overall total. It would mess up my percentages and I prefer to have it seperate.

Today have bought a lampshade for the study, continued to sort out the back garden, planted some spinach and rocket and done some work. Going to go eat some dinner and then watch a film.

Have finally sent out my student loans forms so fingers crossed I should be getting the money they owe me soon. This money I will use to pay off some more off the debts. So that I do this I am going to set my target for the next 1 vs 100 days to £1300.

My new isa is now open got to take out all the old money from my old isa as Im not allowed transfers in.

Also applied for the Halifax clarity card so I can use this when I go on holiday in the summer.

Am still waiting to hear whether Santander have received my paperwork and also about the OH's isa.

I have decided to set up my dds for my ccs to pay off the minimum and the rest of the op's to the savings account. This way I can earn interest and then use this to pay off the debt, am going to include this in my total though so I can see how much I have left to pay off. Should have done this before but wanted to see my totals go down and was not organised enough.

Just realised that Aprils pay is going to have to pay for any Olympic tickets I may or may not win! Am going to look at this tomorrow and see how much I can afford! Its such a stupid system of paying before you know what event you have got tickets for.

Finally heard back from Santander and they have not received my documents! Anyway I am going to fax them into them when I get back to work.
Have not heard about the OH's ISA yet, have emailed them 2x now.

Also still waiting to hear back from the student loans company. Have heard from Halifax, signed the paperwork and just waiting for the pin and card to now be sent.

Up to 10 Nsds so far. Get paid at the end of next week

Made rhubarb muffins and banana, walnut and carrot slices for my new things this week. Last week made an oat thickie. The rhubarb muffins weren't great - forgot to add baking powder and also sugar!:o
