elantan: My brother sells low-spec laptops for a living, so I may be able to get you one cheap. It depends on what you want to do with it, of course; it probably won't be able to play DVDs or anything, but will do office stuff just fine.

Throw me a PM or something if you want me to sift through the pile of laptops in the corner, I'll see what I can come up with.

was thinking what i could do to keep myself motivated..(having a bit of bother on that front at the moment) then i remembered i had this...so i'll try it again for a wee while (see how i go) well on the debt front i'm down to just below £5,000 now hubby got some shares in through his work so we sold them and put it straight to the debt....we should be debt free this year now thankfully ....am putting the money that i am no longer paying into the debt into a savings account now hopefully in a few months will have enough to pay off the debt completey (they dont allow you to over pay just pay off) thanks to a certain sexy funny guy that has a passion for hair cuts and car accessories i have started matched betting he is amazing and i cant thank him enough in helping me get started....so that is off the ground now too ...also read abit about lynzpower getting herself a bread maker..i used to have one of these but they took so long and i lost the measuring things so i chucked it out (musta been 5 or so years ago now) reading about lynz gave ma a hankering for it again so bought myself a new one...have also decided to grow some veg in the back garden ..i did this before also but the squirrels ate the strawbs and the potatoes got plight or something..then i had to work loads extra hours so didnt have the time....but now i have time so i'm gonna start back doing it just dont know where to start anybody got any advice on this one.....oh and in a way the most important challenge the lardloss with gp and emz this i have been in a kinda denial about (hoping the weight just falls off me through ozmosis or something) so that is must for me and possibly the most important...i have so much to write but think i will leave it here please add to and any advice greatly recieved...

Ozmosis lol! I fancy having a go at home grown veg too, tried strawberries last year but accidentally killed them off. :) Lettuce would be a good one for us because we eat loads of it in summer, but not sure how easy it is to grow. Might have to have a chat with the parents, and get some tips off them! Good luck with it Elantan, you sound really motivated and positive!
