Ryan is doing quite well too - strangely enough he seems relieved that there is a reason he can't control his behaviour too - unfortunately he's starting to be aware that he's 'different' which is hard for him, but we will try and keep life as normal as possible for him.
Just tell him to remember he's unique.

Morning El, just catching up and good to see that the finishing line is in sight.
With courgettes, you can make courgette "pancakes" too - grate the courgettes if you have a food processor, squeeze the moisture out of them using a t-towel, then add with batter and seasoning and fry in a little olive oil. Yum as a side vegetable, or as a "nibble". YUM!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. I first read that questions as something very rude indeed...
I've not done much recently - glad it's a long weekend.
With regards to the wormery - how much food do you chuck out? I got one when I was with the XOH, and I inherited it. Now I keep looking to see if the poor things are starving to death..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

When we get the next house, I want a wormery too.
Found this link, thought it might be helpful:
http://www.the-gardeners-calendar.co.uk/Features/Compost_Heap/DIYWormery.asp
For more links just google "wormery" "build", and you get lots of hits on how to do a diy wormery and how to look after it. Main thing seems to be the worms don't like citrus fruits and onion skins, said to be too acidic  Think I might have to split wormery and compost bin, and if I get a green cone too, it could be very complicated, that's without the normal recycling.
Hypno's courgette pancake sounds good too.
I only found out about using the courgette as a salad veg when I was in a 'posh' restaurant and realised what I was eating.
I'm terrible/?sensible for trying to copy things I find nice when I eat out, or if I buy one of the Tesco Finest reduced and it tastes nice, I look at the ingredients list.
A tesco family favorite which was their Finest reduced was Lamb steaks, but all they were was lamb steaks with crushed garlic (another thing for your growing list), olive oil and rosemary, and you bake in the oven. Using fresh rosemary from our garden made it taste nicer, especially whenever I manage to get the lamb steaks on offer0 -

I do, don't worry.
Although kids his age don't seem to like being unique......he just wants to be the same as everyone else...lol!
Mine is 9, and when we try to get him to do things that would help his problems, he simply points out to us that he's happy just the way he is.
What can we say to that :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Nope they don't. Very fussy eaters. Won't take any of the onion family - including garlic. Don't like acid - you have to stick a handful of lime on every few "feeds". Once found a lump of pineapple in that I'd missed. Completely untouched - looked like it had been put in the day before.
It was about 4 months old... :eek:Think I might have to split wormery and compost bin, and if I get a green cone too, it could be very complicated, that's without the normal recycling.

That must mean being the same as the girls in his class then... Tell him you have a lovely pink dress with his name on it.
