it may have dropped -8.4% and you're more than welcome to celebrate but before this months figures it's was +5.8% YoY... that isn't really bear food as you're basically in the same position that you were a year ago give or take 2%... after having 20% off before that...
your posts are usually more solid Skap but this one is clutching at straws slightly. i can see that the lack of bear food is getting to you a bit... getting all excited over asking prices. come on, you're an LR man
no they're not - have a look at the Felixstowe thread
Cheers chucky.
Yeah, very pro Land Registry and TBH it was never a case of 'happy days, the crash is on and the whole world is doomed', more showing that it is not all positive out there. It could well go to a 5% rise next month.......
Possibly a lack of bear food but visits are few and far between now so have to get the digs in where possible.

Remember though, it is only asking prices

There is an awful lot of property on RightMove for here that has been sat on there for blooming ages, then when more positive news happened in the news, people were more optimistic and put their properties on for slightly more...and of course now, after not selling, having to drastically cut the prices to the more sensible figures....which would account for the rather large reductions in asking prices I saw when I looked last week.
It's quite weird looking at RM, there are properties which haven't reduced from when they were listed 2 years ago and then properties in the same street listed in the last month or so for an awful lot less...and selling, or larger properties in better areas for the same or a lot cheaper.
You would think people would look around them, especially if their property has been up for sale for 2 years with no takers.
Not sure any of that made any sense to be honest...I know what I mean but whether that comes across..:rotfl:We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

I know exactly what you mean as I recognise it in the Wiltshire town we moved from. I can only assume a complete detachment from reality. What goes around - comes around0 -
I have spent the last few weeks looking at houses in my area on rightmove. I have homed in on four that I like and property bee shows all of them reduced since august, with two of them priced at "offers around £x"
I spent an hour this afternoon just driving past them and getting a feel for the exact location, aspect, surroundings etc
When I drove past my favourite, there was a van on the drive marked "so and so property developer"
Straight away, I thought "debt junkie" and my spirit soared at the thought of getting another 20-30k off the advertised price.
