I have a bit of trouble with that as well.
I think they are good if you happen to own a spare house or two. Otherwise cannot see the upside.0 -

If you have a string of BTL or are settled in your final home with no kids to raise then price rises are good for you.
For everybody else it just makes life harder.
I don't really blame the 'bulls' for being happy, if I was in their shoes I would probably be the same. What I find quite odd is the motivation to come on to forums like this to brag about it. I think I would just get on with my life and concentrate on my own family. But whatever floats your boat.0 -

On the whole your probably right. There are a few posters who do seem to take much more delight than others, although the nature of the medium does make it harder to intepret the meaning behind posts.
I've never believed you've taken delight in prices rises, just when you think you have won an argument

i don't think the house prices have much to do with it to be fair - it's probably the point that they predicted something and they got a bashing for it.stueyhants wrote: »On the whole your probably right. now they're right and want to bash the people that bashed them about in the first place.
