I am 'officially' depressed :o (or so my counsellor says). She's impressed with me managing to go into work and do what has to be done - I am under orders to focus on that as a positive and not to be negative about all the stuff I haven't done :o Easier said than done! It is good to know that it's all part of the depression though and that I'm not (completely) mad!

You're not completely mad by any means ... or at least if I'm not then you're definitely not as we are both 'officially' depressed ;) As the counsellor says, TRY to look on the good side/positive - when I'm bad I'm my own worst enemy and beat myself up mentally and think how carp I am as a wife/mum/daughter .. you get the picture. Depression does horrible things to you so be nice to yourself and treat yourself to nice things because, as L'Oreal say, you're worth it ;)

Carlsberggal, lovely to see you back on here - I wondered where you'd gone. I'm a technophobe too, I just found a site with free avatars, found the one I liked, right clicked, saved to my desktop and then went to User CP on here, edit avatar and asked it to find the file from my desktop and hey presto .... yellow bird for me! Good luck :)

DH is out so going to sit down with the TV on and see if I can get some more of DS's jumper done now ... domestic bliss! DS only got out of his bed 7 times tonight  - let's hope he stays asleep now and if you could send some sleep vibes to him I'd be mighty grateful ;)

Hugs frodders. Each to their own, but I have felt a lot happier since I quit seeing counsellors. eta and we're all mad, so don't worry about that!

    AnW'smum I'm thinking of you.
