    Hi everyone
Been to the library, got ingredients for peaches and cream cupcakes (someone got a new cookbook! Hummingbird bakery mmmm) and sausages for toad in the hole for dinner. Baking day tomorrow, as well as more studying.
Cleaned my walking boots from yesterday, tidied up a few bits and pieces, and booked train tickets for going home for the planting of Dad's tree at the cemetery in Feb.

    Love to everyone
    xx

Nopot2pin - sometimes less is more with the rice crispie cake - just melt some milk chocolate, stir in enough rice crispies so they are just covered in choc rather than swimming in it, divide into paper cases and pop them in the fridge until the choc's gone hard again

Had a torrid time taking DS up to get DD from school as he cried the whole way there, pulling back and saying no, carry me and then cried all the way back again. It was awful. Anyone who has had to part drag/part walk a 3 year old will know how I felt :(.

Ohh yes, I have felt your pain :D Hugs x
Now, I've not got the kind of figure which allows me to wear electric blue spandex, batwing tops and legwarmers,

Saw a clip from Ross Noble the other day who said he once watched a larger lady doing contempary dance dressed in silver spandex and she looked like a baked potato, :rotfl:made me laugh so much but I happened to be wearing brown and DS2 said "no, Mum you look like a baked potato!" :o:rotfl:

  • THURSDAY - MASTER BEDROOM - ALL DONE TOOTS :j:j:j

May I have my star please. It's very wet here so the cream floor tiles in the kitchen are getting a hammering. I'm going for dark grey slate when we replace them this year. (or next year - finances depending). I would have done the spare room as well as our bedroom but I did it a few days ago and as long as I keep the door closed (the little dog likes to sleep in there) it stays ok.

Need to tackle unpacking the shopping in a mo and start some Chinese for tea. My fishman calls on a Thurs and we love cod in black bean sauce. Didn't do the ironing yesterday so I'll have to do some today.

    Have a good evening.
