    Happy birthday Pooh and Nicky, have a lovely day.:beer::j

    Well before I went to bed last night, I also plonked the BM on.

    Removed the rack from the draining board and wiped and disinfected all that side of the work surface.

    I also dishwashed my wash cloth so it was disinfected too.

    Today doing a little work from home in the morning and out this afternoon.

    Having someone pick up my car and take it away today. Its the one my hubby knackered a while ago.

    REMIND ME to cancel the insurance and tax....got log book and MOT ready, just need the car decluttered.

    Ebaying has paused Greenbee, just at the mo. Just trying to concentrate on work and the training I'm on at the mo. Its brilliant training, did the shorter version years ago and it changed my life. Also tremendously pleased and quite tearful that I've got my faculties back...I knew my cognitive functioning had declined significantly with the Lymes...now I'm getting it back, I've realised just how bad I was and it was for much longer than I realised.

    Ta for fruity suggestions, I do have a juicer, possibly 2 :o, I'll have to rummage in the understairs cupboard.

    Anyways, I have a listy wriiten down so I'll find that and have a shufty.

    Actually first job is cancel the insurance...I'll do that now.

    Toots glad you managed to get some Boots bargains.

    Piggers, I'll either pm you, ring you or text you re hot choctastic. How are you doing, you don't sound too good re energy levels hun?

    LadyL, keep on keeping on hun, morphine will wipe you ou energy wise anyway, rest as much as you need to sweetie. xxx

    Jinky, 4 receptions and a smaller telly because the other is too big....:eek:, do you live in a house or a mansion?:D

    MissH – Couldnt resist googling that spider and recognised them Have been known to hoover the odd one up accidentally but I always say sorry

    I'm afraid I make a point of hoovering them up - they are truly evil spiders: cannibals to their own, and ruthless in killing and eating every other spider they come across. Especially the lovely furry house-spiders. I used to have loads of the native house spiders, but didn't see a single one for 3-4 years until I started to tackle these tropical ones seriously. Now my house-spiders are back (and I *don't* hoover them, or any other type) and the others are in retreat. They breed all year round, and we quickly discovered that they will take over unless you are very vigilant... they arrived in this country in the SE of England and are now widespread as far as the North of England - not so common in Scotland.

  • ... Gone for over an hour now, but I have been working:

    * Printed 16 documents, most of which need completing and dealing with by end Jan :eek:
    * Made chicken soup
    * Put the fat ball out for the birds now it has hardened

    Just going to make sarnies for DH to take to work (he's working at home this a.m.), then I really *will* get on with the bathroom... :rolleyes:

    I had a ridiculously usy day yesterday and didn't have time to Fly or post. I hope to make up for both today and have started by completing Wednesdays lists.
    Am I able to ask for a retrospective Wednesday Star please Toots?

    I will now move on to today's tasks but given our room is the graveyard and dumping ground for anything without a home I may be gone some time. In fact if I'm not back this evening please send out a search party! The spider population are now larger than our German shepherd.
    I am going to tackle the neglected en-suite as my second room. Is this cheating? Should it be one? No matter, it hasn't been touched for so long that I may need a hammer and chisel for the lime scale and so it is a worthwhile task to undertake.
    ..... right, I'm going in.... wish me luck ....

    Lady L, lovely to see you have posted.

    Jinky, I thought your house sounded big too! Wanna swap? :rotfl:

    Poppy, sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday re DS, but I'd say definitely try to find someone he can talk to as talking is sooooo important. Sometimes you don't know how you feel, but when you talk to a professional they can 'open the floodgates' and it can be really healing. He's lucky to have a lovely Mum like you to look after him.

    MissH, those spiders sound nasty and I think I'll Dyson them up! DS is scared of spiders - don't know why - the other day he came running in from the kitchen in floods of tears cos there was a 'byder' (can't say his s's!) and I had to get rid of it. We released it outside and he waved goodbye but he did get worked up!

    I finally have got rid of those 3 bin bags and 1 full carrier bag of clothes/books for the Charity Shop :j as I pinched DH's car. Glad to see they're gone and took great joy in crossing off my list (or am I sad?!)

    During my HHC I:
    * emptied DW
    * reloaded DW
    * emptied WM
    * took down dry from yesterday and put away / to iron
    * hung up wet
    * made beds
    * decluttered a cup of coffee DH made me ;)
    * was half way through sorting out a drawer when my timer went off but I carried on. It was my 'precious drawer' where I keep things special to me but had got way out of hand so I've thinned it out a bit (or rather put it to go in the loft in a box cos I can't quite let go of it!) but I have thrown some stuff away!

    Just walked the dog, decluttered my last bit of St Peter's Mud Pie :rolleyes: and am about to get DS from pre school.

    I have a quick question - does anyone know if you can recycle old birthday cards in with the paper?
