  • In my HHB I:

    * Unpacked the DW
    * Froze down left-overs
    * Strained the chicken stock
    * Refilled the bird feeders
    * Made some more fat-balls to put out for the birds
    * Fluffed up the duvet which I washed the other day - nearly aired now
    * Started up the terrestrial PC and printer so I can do some printing during my coffee-break and...
    * Saw that the cyclamen in the study desperately needed watering :o, so did it!

    Quick cuppa now: but I'm going to do some printing and filing while I drink it, in the hope that this will be on the bathroom/study list tomorrow! Must also start off some chicken soup.

    Back later to tackle some cleaning...

    S & S Kitchen
    Phoned Currys to arrange for them to replace the freezer they brought yesterday that's damaged :mad:

    I'm going to carry on now until 11.10.
  • Was woken up early by boyf's phone ringing with some news we didn't want so he's in a carpy mood, and I'm not the greatest either. Need to get on though so going to do some studying and flying then go up to the uni library later for research.
    Why does my living room look like a hurricane has been through only days after I've tidied? And why do I always miss something with the washing up? I just can't be bothered today.
    Ugh.

    Hope everyone has a good day, haven't caught up so hugs to those who need them.

    Morning
    Only done a few bits and pieces this morning, WM, DW and S&S kitchen after doing a cooked breakfast for DD. Have tidied around LR of clutter left around from last night and the chocs on the table were a bit tempting

    Boddy – Hope Mum is better next time. There are bound to be ups and downs. My father was in a home/hospital for 8 years before he passed away last year and it was so difficult as sometimes I didn’t even know if he knew who I was then other times just a smile from him would make everything worthwhile
    Toots– There isn’t really anybody for DS to speak with – I don’t have brothers/sisters and Ex’s family are all abroad. Have made inroads yesterday and am trying to get him to agree to see a doctor who could hopefully refer him to somebody he could talk to but so far he will not agree to this. He is a great kid but I fear maybe I should have recognised things a bit earlier but will do everything I am able to get him through this
    MissH – Couldnt resist googling that spider and recognised them Have been known to hoover the odd one up accidentally but I always say sorry
    Happy Birthday Nicki:bdaycake: and belated Happy Birthday to those I missed yesterday:bdaycake:
    Jinky – Was the bad dream about flying :Dand you woke to find it a reality. Hope Daz toothache eases. Re the tv, I was badgered into getting a 50” last year and when it came was HUGE but am used to it now and on the plus side I don’t have to wear my glasses to watch it :rotfl:
    Diva – Continued vibes for Tris and Michelle
    LadyL – Lovely to see you have posted. Hugs :kiss:
