Morning everyone, just catching up with the gossip. I can never fly very far on a Thursday as it's straight home from work, quick change, and then out again until late. I'm dreading the set of drawers and floordrobe! Oh well, eensy steps and all that!

My extras list for the weekend:

    Clean out freezer
Wash car (inside and out if not pouring)
Paint over bathroom ceiling mouldy bit now it's been cleaned and dried
    Paint over water mark downstairs
Put up shelves in bathroom - waiting now for over a year!
Plant bulbs found yesterday in understairs cupboard

Have a good day everyone, and happy birthday where applicable x

PS - Despite eating too many bad things - I've managed to lose 2lb this week and all the credit goes to this thread, so a huge big THANK YOU and :kisses: I'm so pleased xx

  • Thanks to all for yesterdays kind words.

Took mum to get a Chinese last night and ordered far too much to the point she’s having the rest for lunch :rotfl:

It was strange without Reg as his favourite was chow mein noodles and it was weird not saving any for him – he was a pampered pooch!

As no surprise to any of us, still no flying done at all so in a vain attempt not to be outdone this only being my second flying week I have this morning printed out all 4 days lists and will do these when I get home tonight (after calling in on mum) – I am aiming to get my first star this week so I WILL pull my finger out and get started!

Looking forward to updating my list later for you and that first star!

Happy Birthday Nicki :bdaycake: and big hugs :grouphug: to anyone who needs them today – I know how much your hugs helped me yesterday x
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

  • Hi everyone!

I'm out tomorrow, and really simply must do something about my bathroom today, because it hasn't had a good clean for a while now - just S&S. On the other hand, my bedroom is looking pretty good. So I'm thinking that I'll do my bathroom today, plus run the hoover around the bedroom, and hope that Piggers chooses the bathroom tomorrow for a star.

Got a bunch of small jobs to do first, so I'm off for a HHBlitz starting just before 9:45 and going on till 10:15.

    Hope you can join me!

    MissH

p.s. Toots: the cellar is still full of spiders - trust you to remember! But DH says he is going to go down and tidy it this weekend....... so that's alright, then....;)

Oh no - didnt look at the lists and they have changed - that will teach me!

Anyway today have done the lounge hall & stairs - decluttered, dusted dewebbed & polished & vacuumed.
Also have decluttered & tidied the spare bedroom although I still have an ever growing pile of odd socks in there.
