anyways...still resisted the Boots sale :j, I'm very pleased about that. I've resisted every sale except the Emma Bridgewater one, which I've waited all year for, so that technically didn't count.;)
Pleased you've had a good day... and well done resisting the sales! How's the ebaying going?

Now what to do with the other load of bananas, oranges, mangos, pineapple that needs using up.
    Send them over here? :D
Juice oranges, and bung juice in liquidiser with bananas & mangoes to make a smoothie
Pineapple - if you have a juicer, juice with ginger and lime, then add yogurt
Oranges - juice and add mint
    Bananas - slice into porridge
    Fruit salad?
A piece of fruit with every meal and one in between?

Not much flying achieved so far this week. I foresee a hectic weekend! I need to get downstairs vaguely respectable tomorrow as I have a friend coming over for supper (must get something out of the freezer to feed her...)

I'm in the office tomorrow morning, and am having lunch with clients, but hopefully will be able to get away straight after lunch.

I managed to get my paper out for review today, and it seems to have had a OK reception, so if I get one more review I can make amendments tomorrow and then it'll be done.

Had governors' training this evening (Every Child Matters, for those who are interested) so it's been a long day. I need to sort out my work clothes for the morning, as there is an outside chance (admittedly small) that I might go to the gym before work if I wake up on time.

Good to see everyone is being so productive!

ECM is good training greenbee, I enjoyed that. Getting every authority to sign up to EDCM is harder! We managed it in Durham, no easy task but was officially signed up to last year http://www.ncb.org.uk/edcm/home.aspx

MrsC hope you feel better soon

Been like Benny Hill film here, DP thought we had mice so scatting about in the kitchen...it was the dishwasher arm squeaking as it went round. Then an escaped cricket appeared so chased that, dog found it eventually and I think it must have nipped his nose (they are wicked critters) so that was funny....

Why am I so nervous about tomorrow? It's silly as well if she doesn't like us tough, we're just parents but when it comes to people in charge of the AHDC http://www.dcsf.gov.uk/everychildmatters/healthandwellbeing/ahdc/coreoffer/coreofferandni/ we want to make a good impression, show the extra pennies are being spent well and we want it to continue....for the whole country and not just the 3 years it was set up for....especially the short break care has made so much difference for so many families (not ours out of choice as most were summer activities)

....ok attempt 3 to go to bed
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • thought I would never get caught up with phone calls. text messages and other things that needed doing....

Diva hugs and prayers for Tris and Michelle and hope they both make a good recovery. Of course you can get stars via a third party so just you print the list for the cleaner and get her started:rotfl: but you will get a star if you post just so we can keep an eye on you:rotfl:and for getting ius all fired up with your cheeriness first thing - well no its not first thing its usually middle of the night!!!!!!
boddy (((hugs))) hope Mum is better when you see her again - it must be so hard for you.
hellsbells that sounds like a great step forward for DD - well done to you for shouting at them - hope she gets on ok
Mumof2 good to see you brighter today:D - other people's clutter is always a problem - as Poppy suggested some extra storage could be useful but given that both your DH and DD are hoarders you may be giving them more places to fill!!! you could get a storage box like Poppy's and when its filled it has to be sorted through by the culprits and permanent homes found for the items - do it on a regular basis and try to get them to part with little bits each time and a little more each time - when you see the stuff when you are tidying it have a valid reason ready for not keeping it!!! you need to be one step ahead!!:rotfl:
Poppy (((hugs))) and strength vibes to help you help your DS. I do hope he gets through this but dont let it go on too long - do you have a brother or some other male that he might speak to -he will have been concerned about you during the split from your ex too. I am sure with your loving support he will come through ok.
Gotnodosh (((hugs))) hope your Ex makes a full recovery and realises where his priorities are - and thats not in a bottle! Maybe he will get some help while he is in that will steer him in the right direction. Could his Mum get the nurses to refer him for some more support?
Waltzing Mathilda - re de-webbing - vacuums are good - lambswool dusters, feather dusters - whatever you like using that is suitable for you and your home - there is no right or wrong method - just get rid of them:rotfl:
Lady L nice to see you posting again honey and that your Fb buddies are keeping you going - hope the pain is easing - loads of love as always xxxx
AnW'sMum:T :T:T:TWOOHOO!!!!! well done that woman!!!
MissH that is a huge improvement for you - I remember about your horrible variety of spider so well done to you getting them banished from the LR - what about the cellar:eek::eek::eek::eek:
Nutty awh honey huge squishy (((hugs))) for your loss and to your Mum as well. they are like family so its very understandable how you feel - belive me we have had a few people like yourself so take your time and remmeber the fun you had with him. maybe your Mum will need to think about a wee puppy to keep her company?
leed dot2dot is AnW's Mum's (patent pending;)) way of getting to grips with her house. - she totally clears, guts and then cleans somewhere (it could ce a chair, a shelf an area of floor or wherever) and you move on to another spot and do the same - hopefully joining up the 'dots' until you get a whole area or room - then the real job is to keep the dots clear and clean !!!

ceebeeby thanks for the giggle about your detergent drawer - I was reading it as my mother was speaking to me on the phone and it made me forget what a pain she was being!!! You will get used to my lists - they never really get much smaller - probably bigger actually - I dont acheive stars or much due to my health/condition but it keeps me straight to have a list and it gives the [STRIKE]worriers [/STRIKE] lovely flyladies something to moan about:rotfl::rotfl:
Ishtar - WTG with the decluttering!!!
Polly -naughty lady doing that by yourself I hope you didnt hurt yourself - roll on tomorrow night for a lovely sleep!!!
skipsmum all sorts of better news at your house - thats great what a relief for you about wee man and the money - how do you make a meteorite:rotfl:
Aunty Crafty WTG with the boots savings - i did the same only more:eek::eek: i will blame my support worker today - I hadnt ssen the email from Martin but she knew about the sale so we went - it was bedlam and they were only putting out some of the stuff - I think I missed some good buys but have covered most of the female birthdays and some Chrsitmas presies so well pleased with the bargains but not for spending the money:rotfl: it will save me a few headaches throughout the year ( I will be more organised this year!!)
Holly congrats on the new freezer.
MOAM awh honey did I miss your birthday yesterday? I hope you had a lovely day and belated Happy Birthday:bdaycake:
Triker well done for avoiding Boots and I hope DH is better soon. Well done to you too for beginning to cope better with work/fatigue etc - are you feeling better?
helen you are very welcome honey - glad to help - you sound excited to be doing something to change things and as for DH ....well what can I say:rotfl: he has got off this time but maybe not for long!!!!
Carol I know you are doing it sweetie xxx
MrsChaos huge (((hugs))) and hope you feel better soon.
lil_me goodluck with your meeting tomorrow and you get the answers you want - I am sure it will be fine - you have such passion in your work:T:T:T
Dusty honey I miss you - I really do need to get over to the daily thread to see how you are. xx

sorry I need to post and [STRIKE]run[/STRIKE] hobble off to do the stars before I turn into a pumpkin!

hope to be on earlier tomorrow - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek just realised its food shopping tomorrow!

special love and thought for LadyL
    hugs to all the poorliess

I was going to try and fly this week...then I hurt my back Monday (just achy, Tuesday was a different matter though!) and I'm just about keeping up with the dishes and meals with the odd bit of tidying up, I now know that doing the shopping Tuesday night & using a rucksack was a very very bad idea :o DD is helping where she can, but she's off to ex's Friday more or less straight from school so we'll have to get what we can done tomorrow as well as sorting out her packing. Which reminds me, I need to iron her school pants  Laters
