Working through the dailies but still psyching myself up to clear and dust a shelf - DH made the shelves really long (about 8 foot ) so I think I may just do half of one if that's OK and I'll slowly work my way around!
Feeling v proud of myself because cleaned hob and oven (even though not on the list :A!). Also feeling OS because made pudding already and just waiting to put chocolate on once base is chilled and, best of all, have a loaf of bread cooking in the bread maker
Welcome to the new posters on here; I have found it makes a real difference to my motivation and once you do one thing it sort of just becomes a bit addictive!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

DH can stay in my wing if he's good and if not I want a seperate wing for him too [he's nice really] I just keep looking at the rooms and thinking how dingy it all looks and how we have no money to do anything - I'm sick to death of it all so I don't care what DH thinks I'm looking for a full time job even if he shouts and screams I don't care, SAHM's are fine [and I love doing it] but we can't afford it so its reality check time for him tonight - wish me luck good luck - is there anything you could do working from home (ironing, childminding etc.)

ETA And to top it all I've just opened a drawer in the kitchen to check passport dates [thanks Jill and Pigpen] and the blerdy drawer has just collapsed beyond repair - fed up beyond words now lots of duct tape maybe??? .
Best of luck x0 -
Well got a few jobs done today, ended up doing the stairs though as it was getting dangerous, especially when I can't see my feet that well rofl. Also did the top and middle landings which tend to be dumping grounds, so will get OH to hoover later as don't want to make my back ache more by lifting the hoover up the stairs.

Hi all,
I think I have finally returned to the fold properly! I was MIA last week but, but, but..... I was flying in the form of turning the house upside down, I wasn't just BBI I was BBallday, we decorated the kitchen which meant everything was pulled out of the kitchen which made me complain about lack of space, so it started this MEGA clean and sort out all over the house!
Every cupboard was emptied, cleaned sorted and I was ruthless, this includes wardrobes as well, so we have 3 bags waiting for the next charity collection, I took 9 pairs of shoes to the recycling, and numerous other things that had just been kept for the sake of it! The result of all this means the house is still upside, I have to wade through all the paperwork in the study waiting to be shredded or filed! But I now know where everything goes!
And in the middel of all of that we had to do a 330 mile round trip to see DH's nan in hospital as she had a very bad day!
But this is a new week, my working days have changed for the better for me and so I will have strarted again today! I'm just so pleased it was the kitchen as thats where I started this morning!

Phew... I have just done half an hour studying, and then completely done all my built-in cupboards in the kitchen. All of them are organised and wiped out. There's nothing like putting off more revision to get me moving on the flying! I'll be posting all I got rid of in the declutter thread, and crossing them off my declutter list.
Can I have a kitchen star please Toots/Soappie??
Cup of peppermint tea (i'm cutting out caffeine and all the extra sugar I put in coffee) and then another HHStudy i think! Then maybe the freezer... or the plastic drawers... or the pan shelves! I am feeling inspired and energetic for once!
Love to everyone, hugs to HelenJ and congrats to JillD's friend!Chifundo Uzuri Siochain"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost" - JRR Tolkien~~ Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal ~
