Thanks, it's gone quiet up there but it's usually a good half hour until hes ready to talk or be comforted.

This is the first major one in months, so he's doing really well. And much shorter than usual too (the meltdown, not him!).

My friends son grew out of the meltdown stage at about 9/10 when he could articulate his feelings a bit better.....he still gets moments where he needs to go and kick the living daylights out of a ball in the garden but it's much more controlled.

you must be shattered having 2 jobs!!!! i'm not allowed to do one hate being stuck on incapacity benefit , used to be a nursery nurse too
