    Good evening peeps :D
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

I think that comes with technique hun...the more you improve and your stride changes you will be more elegant. I run like a small elephant so I shouldn't worry!

It takes 1,000's of miles to run 'elegantly' - I know I dont!

Ah useful fact - OH says 10,000 hours of running before you reach your optimal running style

ahhhh bum I'm 9,999 miles off finding out (that's if you add all the running I've ever done in my life and I'm sure the few half hearted jogs around the hockey pitch at school count) :D

    Evening folks :D

Finally got out for a run tonight (first in about 2 or 3 months I think:o)

Managed 2.58 miles (just over 4km) averaging 10min 11sec per mile. Anyone know if that's good bad or indifferent?

It has totally lifted my mood so perhaps with regular sessions meds won't need to be upped after all:jgoing to give it a couple of weeks to see;)

    Evening Spud-u-like...
Tks for the suggestions-Sammy,have done Southport/Blackpool/Morecambe more times than I care to remember-being a Scouse kid!!!
Cape Town-did it Oct half term 2 years ago..lovely though.....and I'd go again in a heartbeat...
Hong Kong-possible,as we failed to go for New Year, although HT doesn't coincide with CNY.Flights usually busy though, and as we are standby we have to be careful where we choose..
Spain/Balearics...bit of a coals to Newcastle scenario here...our boat lives in Mallorca and have just been researching flts there in August, so prob give it a miss for feb...
I have a hankering for LA I think...would love kids to stay on old Queen Mary,as we did for our honeymoon....weather isn't brill though..hmm...more thinking required...
    Debt-free...and staying that way...
