Right...
staying in all weekend. Loads of cleaning to do (haven't touched windows in months!) plus loads of applications to do (3 for OU tutoring + one full time permanenet + one temp contract said 'immediate start so hopefully they'll get their finger out on that one, plus send cv to interim agencies for obscenely paid work in other cities.) So shouldn't *neesd* to spend.
Got some piggypoints through today that I wasn't expecting, so now have enough for £20 of Boots or TGI vouchers. I think TGI for celebration or commiseration next month, depending. Although I could also put them towards that DVD set I really really really want.... would only be £18 now instead of £38...
Wages are in bank. Am going to do transfer to savings account then try and ignore them. However I may well go and blow my £9 on frozen/tinned veg and chickpeas. I am toying with the idea of going for a £5 per week only-in-emergencies spend on food next month, as the store cupboards are stuffed and it'd be nice just to have more room for things! But if I have to go out for fruit etc every week, I'll spend more. Wonder if I can get Tesco to barr me??
Right.. off to do all these bleedin' forms... still get £9.50 left and half a pack of cigs!Debt free 4th April 2007.

Applications all done.. laundry in, dishes washed.. half of wages stashed in savings account.
I am now off with £9.50 in my sticky little mitt to see exactly how much non-perishable format fruit veg and chickpeas I can get for it!! List to follow.Debt free 4th April 2007.

Mate called... going for brunch tomorrow (to cheap place) .. so that'll need to be my £9.50.
Next month's challenge for me is can I live on what's left over after bills from call centre wage? This is in case another job doesn't come up. I'd have £160 in my hand, reckon £100 for running car/ cinema pass/ birthdays. So £60 for food and toiletries. Going to start another thread for that one...Debt free 4th April 2007.
