Some of it was sensible - fruit, veg, loo rolls etc. Good bargains too, 2 large tins of tuna for £1, 2 large tins of condensed soup for £1. Then I spotted 3 packs of jaffa cakes for £1..................:o
All my clothes seem to have fallen apart/got really scruffy at once so I went to Matalan and spent £70  YES £70  on new stuff. I needed everything, including underwear. I probably wouldn't have bought so much if I didn't go out to work but I feel soooooo guilty. Mr troo said "don't be silly, you haven't bought anything new for ages". But I feel awful.
And our kettle was leaking so I bought a whistling one that sits on the hob (£12) - I know it's got a proper name but I've just got up (brain not in gear yet lol) and I can't think what the proper name is :rotfl:Bulletproof0 -
At £28.59. Away at work event for 2 days - subtract £8, (2 dyas allowance at hotel food etc paid) - £20.59.
Sod it. It's going to be a hellish event, I'm having 2 packets of fags!! Will leave me under a tenner, but only 7 days to go when I get back and I have enough bread, frozen food etc to do me. Will probably get v cheap voddie at weekend with tenner if I still don't have a job by then!!! (I promise to drink it responsibly though)
Off to pack and station.. see you all Tuesday night!Debt free 4th April 2007.

£24.18 left to go
Good luck at your interview :TBulletproof0 -
I meant to say, it should be £35.18 but it's easier for me to work weekly with this challenge, so from august onwards, it's £93.56 per week. As 31st july is a monday, I've not included it in this month's budget. So that's why I've knocked a bit offBulletproof0
