Im so angry right now I'm RED!

A week ago I cancelled my subscription with a company who I am not too impressed with.

Today I called them to tell them what I thought of them and that I would never use them again under any circumstances.

The guy who answered listened for a bit, then told me that as he was "Only Customer Service" and the most he could do is pass my feedback on and leave notes on my account.

I wanted to get it off my chest how rubbish I thought their shoddy, second rate service was, but he insisted that my feedback would be better appreciated in writing or by Email as it could be passed to a director. Who would be more likely to read a letter or Email than listen to verbal feedback.

I asked why he was eventhere and he said "To assist customers with account problems"

I spent 5 mins waiting in a call centre queue only to be told by the numbskull taking "To be fair you have cancelled your account already"

How F****ng rude!

I am writing to his director alright, to get him the sack!

What did you expect him to do? He's advised you the most effective way to get your message to someone senior, if you are so concerned about doing this writing it down shouldn't be too much of an inconvenience.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
  • I'd give him a pay rise, to be fair; like he said, he's only there to assist with account problems, not to take sh*t off people.

    Have a think about it.

Why? He gave you sound advice on how to best to present your complaint.

It isn't his fault that you were provided with a poor service while you were a subscriber.

I hope you get the sack.

He was just giving you the best advice he could and one which any person would give if they were using their brain.

If you keep acting the way you are in this post you are just making yourself seem like a total prat.

Do yourself a favour and calm down and think rationally about it.

  • He gets PAID to listen to customers problems. He should have listened to what I wanted to say. All I wanted to do was tell them how crap they were.

You're like a bully plowing into the poor bloke, People like you are just downright ignorant, the guy explained that he is just doing his job, for crying out loud, if he doesn't do his job, he gets fired, then you will look through your hooter at him for being unemployed.

Just let him do his job, it is a few moments out of your dull life, if you don't want to take his advice - say no - and move on with your life.

How would you like it if someone came into your place of work and stopped you from doing your job properly? Don't be an idiot all of your life!

By the way Abrupt - if the above looks familiar check your previous posts, this is very slightly changed from one of yours from last year.

  • You need to get a grip OP. You already cancelled a subscription but then you rang a week later to tell them what you thought of them and actually sat in a telephone queue waiting to rant at some poor customer service advisor? I suggest you do something more constructive with your time instead of being, what redpete says, a phone bully.

Abrupt, you really are odd, why would you bother to go back to the message I quoted above and remove the incriminating evidence, it was here if anyone wants to go to see where it was .

but here is another quote from Abrupt in that same thread that also shows his/her hypocrisy:

You demand they do their job? At the same time as berating them for doing the job in the way their bosses demand they do it?

I bet you demand everyone does their job, checkout staff, airline crew, box-office staff, you must be a lovely customer to have to deal with.

Good grief, it whiny assed crybabies like you that cause these people so much stress. I had to do it once myself to put food on my table, reading a boring script was one thing, dealing with people who were rude, nasty and thought they knew my job better than I did was another.

You were no longer a customer.

If you rang up ranting like you have done on here, the advisor probably just wanted to get rid of you as quickly as possible.

wow he sounds like a very mature person. If you had spoken to me as you sound here I would have given you something to complain about.
    Nice to save.
