Many thanks to all of you that answers the quiz's. And Jules you are a jewel. I have never won, but live in hope! Your a mine of information to!
As to the Royal mail thread, they found a 'few' sackfuls of mail dumped in the woods here!!!Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
....
This is turning into a Royal Mail rant, which is very much OT: but then I hope can be forgiven because on Friday the postman put a CARD through our letterbox at work to tell us we needed to pay extra postage on a letter, and if he'd rung the doorbell I'd have given him the postage there and then! "You can come and collect it," they say, "from our sorting office, but it's only open from 7.30 am until 11.30 am. Or you can stick £1.23 worth of stamps on and send this card back to us and we'll re-deliver it." So you'd better pray this letter wasn't anything urgent, because getting to the sorting office during those hours is a nightmare, and who knows how long it will take for the card to get back to the sorting office and them find your letter and re-deliver it!
...
This is off the issue (pigsback) but answers your question. Postmen are no longer allowed to carry money this is why you got the CARD to pay the missing postage that the sender neglected to do.0 -

That sounds a bit drastic. Occasionally PB run out of vouchers temporarily but I'm fairly sure that everyone has either eventually received them or had a refund of piggy points if they haven't turned up. Even without buying anything via PB you can usually build up your points over a few months to get anotherThere is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. Occasionally PB run out of vouchers temporarily
Now as PB do a lot of cashbak through vouchers it seems a bit stupid to have ran out of all these vouchers and certainly does not inspire confidence.
If we all know that we are not alone and that several others have this problem too it means we are not all contacting the post office , when it doesnt look like any of the vouchers are sent.
PB wil know thay have not sent any vouchers so they could at least let us know there is a delay on their site- a small message would help a lot. But like I say Im not too impressed tha they run out of so many vouchers for 2 weeks, not good business.
I like PB and enjoy using it but at the same time Im not indebited to them, I spend money through their site that I culd spend through other cashbacks, so I do still expect a good standard of service.0
