    Hi guys,

I have just recently read about the fab £9.50 holiday offer in the Sun newspaper and would like to take my kiddies away on a caravan holiday! I started collecting the tokens on Monday, but I think that is too late??

Does any kind soul have any spare tokens ie numbers 1 - 16?? I am two tokens short and anything between these numbers would be fine!

    Thanks a million!

Hi to all my MFW buddies! Hope you're all having a fab Saturday night! I am....well, except for the fact that I have ate FAR too much tonight!! This "let's not waste anything" is playing havoc with my waistline!!:eek:

I have had a not too bad few days with regards my spending! I needed shampoo and conditioner and other bits today, but got them all with my Boots advantage card points! I also used 4 x £5 off coupons for No7 in Boots, so that's all my facewash and toner for the rest of the year!

I'm also basing my meals around whats reduced in my local Co-op! I topped up my mobile today with £5 credit, and am hoping that this will last me 4 weeks??!! Sometimes it does, sometimes not!! I shall try though!

Kiddies had 2 parties this weekend - all presents came from my "present cupboard of bargains", so no spend there! I also buy my greetings cards in bulk....got the last batch of 30 for £8 in Tesco!! I sooo grudge £2 odd for a card!!! What is the point in them??!!!:eek:

What am I going to do about my weight issue though?? I seem to be piling on the weight after Christmas, rather than during!! Not good!! Motivation and self esteem taking a bit of a bashing in this department!!

Oh well, off to watch a re-run of Jeremy Kyle.....yes, he is my guilty pleasure!!.....along with mashmallows, hot chocolate, Nutella, crisps, Galaxy, olives.........you know what??!!??......if these foods didn't exist, I'd be a size 8!!

How can I banish these from my shopping trolley??? Ps......I don't include them in my budget as these are my keeping sane foods!!! Shame on me!!:o:o:o

    Just a little :money:tip I thought I'd share....

My hair needs a good dollop of moose every day after my shower. I tried buying Asda's own brand moose (£1 odd per tin) rather than my salon brand (£5 odd per tin).

Anyway, to cut a long story short, the supermarket brand gave me 1980's cardboard crunchy curls.......if you've got curly hair, you'll understand!!:rotfl:

No good.....I thought!! But....I improvised and mixed the two....ie a little squirt of supermarket, and a little squirt of salon!!.....works a treat and my salon tin lasts me twice the time!! :j

To WABL, setmefree2 and gallygirl - thanks for your replies! They made me laugh!! You are all so funny and cheery on here!!

Well, just an update on my shopping budget......I have been putting all my food shopping on my credit card and have spent just over £80 in the last 3 weeks! It has been just me and the 2 kiddies for the past fortnight, so that's helped keep it down, but I am soo chuffed with myself! I used to easily spend £100 - £120 plus per week on food!! Half of it used to go in the bin!!

I am now a great fan of Lidl's - it's amazing what you can buy for a tenner in there! Also, the Daily Mail run an article on Aldi the other day, and aparently there is much less salt and sugar in their foods compared with M&S - I'll post the link if I can find it.

So, with the £ saved on my grocery bill, I have overpaid my mortgage to a round figure of exactly £129,000!! It looks nice and neat on my online banking!!

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!
