Don't eat too many - you'll end up looking like Amanda Holden."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
What's the point in putting collagen in them? Is it abosorbed into the body or broken down in the stomach? Also there's evidence high blood sugar is bad for the skin so marshmallows should really just be avoided anyway.0

Perhaps you put them in your cheeks for the Marlon brando look.0

But is the collagen actually any use?
Collagen is a protein. Proteins are digested in the gut and broken down to amino acids - so I can't see that eating collagen gives much benefit. It won't be absorbed as collagen.
I s'pose the amino acids produced from collagen digestion could, after absorption, be used by the body to remake collagen. But the body should be making its own collagen anyway if you're eating healthily (marshmallows are probably not good in a healthy diet!)
So it sounds to me like a classic dietary con (loads of these around at the moment - many promoting oral ingestion of chemicals (and 'good' bacteria) that won't actually survive digestion).
But maybe they taste good?0 -
I heard they'd made coffee with collagen in it too.
I wonder... if I drink coffee with computer chips in, will it make me a techie genius?Undergrad law student. Take my advice with a pinch of salt! :rotfl:0 -

Don't taste like conventional marshamallows. Won't buy them again.
