What the heck! I know payments don't come out officially till Tuesday but I couldn't wait, i've updated my signature
I'm itching to get started on May, i'm doing the 1 debt V 100 days challenge and also a lose a stone in May challenge Also known as Operation Fat @rse! :rotfl: So eating healthy, exercising like mad - at least 3 times a week and lets see how much weight & debt I can shift.
I got a suitcase of summer things down during the week and have had a mad trying on session. needless to say the results are very motivating and if I can lose some weight I have a ready made summer wardrobe - just need some new sandals and i'm set!
So here's to a brilliant May for everyone:beer: cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -

I was thinking of you this weekend, CG - plenty of people from Sharks were at our club for race weekend.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
haha! I do love a challenge - and believe me with an @rse this size its a big one lol! Were your DS's racing H? DS1 was going to the ski village this wkend theyve got the big air bag to practice your tricks on which he loves but is grounded after returning at 12am from a party!
Don't you just love 'em!CC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
Both mine raced on Saturday, DS raced again on Sunday......but he skied out both days! DD did ok, but DS was somewhat disappointed. At least we didn't travel for hours just for him to ski out, as it is only 10 mins down the road this week!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Oh what a shame hypno, was he disappointed - mine would have been sulking, at least you didn't have far to go
OF@ in full swing food wiseCouldn't get to pool after work cos had a g'zillion errands to run but am going to gym in morning - buddy coming at 9am so no excuses:p
I paid the final balance on my asda1 0% today- very satisfying feeling, its the 1st 0% ive actually paid in full, i normally have to BT part of it.
I'm aiming for £1000 off asda2 0% in the the 1 debt V 100 day challenge.
Just checked quidco and am well chuffed that £160 has finally validated from various bits & pieces as far back as Nov! so that should pay out soon fingers crossedits going straight off my asda2 card before I get side tracked.
DS1 has finally found a work experience - he's going to Iceland! the shop not the country so I am hoping for some staff discount and this mom will be going to Iceland in june :T
Day off tomorrow is chocka block full already ive got to:
clean up/wash/iron/exercise/expecting visit from parents/ so im going to try and get the 1st 3 things done before 9am  so I can enjoy the rest of my day!
ive not been sleeping very well - waking up at 5 most mornings so this should be do-able! I think im worrying about work and if I should stay or go its a realy big thing, exciting but frihtning all the same.
Other MS things sold another book on Amazon slow & steady,
need to get photos done for listing on ebay - need to be in the mood for this one! and still on the look out for MS's but they seem to have dried up in my area. think thats it! Bye for now cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
Wow sounds really productive.
Rotten when you can't sleep. The decision ref work will come to you eventually, try not to worry about it.
FAB news ref paying off a card. Always a super fanastic feeling.
Keep up the good work on OF@. My progress has been ok but I've not been able to do anything for the last couple of nights. Tomorrow and the weekend will be good though I can feel it in my water - LOLWorking Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -

Sorry to hear you are fed up. Your right it is rubbish however it will be worse getting to 50 fat and skint...:)
Improving weather has got to be good all round. I did a nice long trot this am whilst DS's were at footie training. I feel it in my legs tomorrow.Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
Thanks WH,
gets to us all sometimes you are right tho', the prospect of fat 50 & skint is even less appealing!!! So its off to the gym again for me this lunchtime whilst DS1 is at wrestling.
ive been really good on the exercise front so far managed gym 3 times min each week and been active cleaning/gardening etc but it just gives me an appetite!!!!! so not lost anything so far in May - so much for OF@ - its not over yet tho'
OH having a paddy about work clothes so have had to buy new suit for him & DS1 is in dire need of sweatshirt/hoody as he only has thin cardy's or a coat.
Then yesterday had 'heated discussion' with OH about his lads weekend away - he usually goes for 4 days abroad with the lads costs about £400. We discussed it before skiing and he agreed he would go without if we went skiing ths year which we did and now hes brought it up. They are booking flights can he go - well I may have overdone the response a little but he is in no doubt of my feelings on the matter but his tactics are and always have been nag, mardy, whine on and on until I give in. So i'm not looking forward to the next few weeks really. But unless he can find a way to save the money which doesnt impact on what we are doing hes got no chance!
plus OH car is ready for changing, & he's whining about more decorating etc etc just a bit draining really.
Anyway, its good to talk as they say. I did manage to get him to try suits on & order at home so have some quidco tracking - always a silver lining
We are on the freezer remains again, so ive made a list for my to up shop and am going to order my big shop for the 25th - new visa
Weve managed to stay reasonably in budget this month - only got £20 left in cash account because still waiting for £130 expenses to arrive back but im hoping family allowance pays on Monday so i will use that and pay it back with expenses.
Food/Petrol budget £700 - currently spend £795 this month - about £100 of this has gone on other things. It will prob be closer to £900 by the 25th - not good but what can I do? OH does a 60 mile round trip to work each day and petrol costs have gone up
anyway, i'm moaning again. I will shut up now and hope for more optimism in the 2nd half of May cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0
