There was no exit fee with the fixed price online tariff Feb 2011. I've still got the T&C's somewhere if you need them.

There was an exit fee later on.

Thanks everyone. I ended up phoing them on Thursday and they've confirmed that I don't have an exit fee. Unfortunately the NPower cashback on Quidco has now reduced from £130 to £80! That'll teach me to take my time deciding what to do!

Why? Is £80 from Topcashback different to £80 from Quidco?

I got the 2011 NSC fix the day before they pulled it ...... definitely no exit fee on mine.

Not any more unfortunately. I did check there (and the other CB sites) when I noticed it had reduced at Quidco.

I am on this tariff (no exit fee) and have been considering switching. Shame I loathe npower so much that I have been dithering on the 130 quid cashback and now it has been reduced to 80.

The way I look at it, our fixed tariff is good for only one more Winter (not even the whole Winter) so it is probably worth switching to a variable priced deal provided you get some cashback thrown in. If prices rise again before the coming Winter, one could probably recoup any costs by switching again and bagging some more cashback.

Just noticed it's back up to £130. On my way to switch...
